This morning was the opening day of the HSV hunt. I had a productive day by killing my doe thats required for your first deer at 7:10. She came up the draw I was hunting with a spike. 22 yards quartering away i made a perfect shot and she made it about 30 steps.

About 20 mins later I was hunting hard in that same bottom those deer came out of and I caught a rack coming out from behind a huge pine tree. I recognized him immediately as "NO Brows" from the literally hundereds of pics I have of him from the past month. He made it to me and i drew when he went behind a small group of trees and I let him have it at about 15 steps. Another perfect shot and he made it about 25 steps before going down! Not a deer I shoot during normal hunting situation but I need to help those retires out in the village :-)!!!!!

I would have shot him (or the doe) on any of the hunts I go on.
