I am getting ready to head down to Naples for few days and I was planning on doing some fishing and was just wondering if anyone close to Naples could give me some tips on where to go and what to fish for this time of year. Thanks in advance.. Scott

inshore- Reds & trout should be abundant on the flats.
off shore wrecks will hold some good permit & cobia this time of year, grab a few crabs to dunk, they like them. good luck & be safe.

I will be fishing mostly from the shore. Will I be able to catch anything from there? Im also thinking about looking for a party boat or something not too expensive to go out on. Do you have any ideas on who the best capt. or boat to go on?

Where in Naples are you staying exactly. North, South. You can fish some of the beaches in Naples and also some areas in North Naples. Pm me and I can give you some decent spots closer to where you will be. You can also visit floridasportsman.com It is a fishing magazine for florida and has a decent forum. Check out the Ten Thousand Island section.
