I use the 1 5/8 HHA 5019 and like it. Looked at the 2" but for me it was hard to get the pin centered . The cheapo Truglow sight that was on my bow when i got it has the same size ( 1 5/8 ) and I guess i just got used to it. I will say without all the extra pins and with the up pin it seems like it's bigger than 1 5/8 because there aren't as many obstruction when you look through it

Just my $.02

the reostat . you will never use. atleast I never have. I have the 2 incher now but I have shot the 1 5/8 for a few years. as ghost1313 said the single pin and open field of view makes it look huge.

Huge is good!!!!!!!!!!!!This is what hunlee is wanting!!!!!!!!!!!!Hunlee look things over at Pro Shop first as they only have one HHA site now 1 5/8",,,,,,bowseasson being over they not carry much of selection!!!!!!!!!!!! Ifin 1 5/8" look huge to hunlee that thats what it will be if not than its to the 2"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hunlee is not wanting to spend the looooong dollar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sight that hunlee been looking at on the world wid web has 2" aptature with reostate for dimming down the pin and this one is with out the adjustment wheel,,,,,its got the slidder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just under $150.00  smaller hole sight with above options cost around $100.00>>>------->Much better for hunlee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got the smaller HHA, never had a problem with it. One of the best sites I've ever used, and all the HHA's have a lifetime warranty on the fiber optic which is great.

I have both the 1 5/8" and the 2" HHA sights. The main reason I go with the larger scope on some setups is because I like to use whiteout to place a holdover mark at 30 and 40 yards. This lets me adjust, or for quick action just use the marks for 30 and 40 yards. This is easier to do on my setups with the larger housing as I am shooting a 450 grain arrow at 250-260fps. The larger scope and longer pin give me more room to place marks. Here is what it looks like . . .

I've got the 2" with 10' of fiber optic. It really comes in nice at first or last light or when you are in a ground blind. As far as customer service they are the best. I dropped my bow and broke the fiber optic. I sent it in for repair and got it back within a week. No charge because they have a lifetime guarantee.

I have a HHA OL-5000 (1-5/8" housing) on my bow with a 1/4" Meta Peep. Unlike a lot of set-ups, the sight ring of my sight does not line up with the peep. BUt, just like shooting a peep sight on a rifle, the inner ring of the sight centers itself inside the larger ring of the peep and allows accurate shooting.

At least I believe RH's with aluminum shafts at 20 yards and 5" groups at 60 yards is accurate enough for bowhunting purposes.

I understand your reasoning (especially as you are a Western bowhunter), but I went with a single-pin slider sight in order to get away from multiple pins/dots. I keep my pin set at 25 yards which allows me to hold dead-on from the stand out to almost 30 yards, and just a slightly higher hold will give me a clean kill out to 35.

I've arrowed three deer (two does, one buck) since I got this sight this past spring and I can guarantee I will never go back to a multi-pin sight. The clean sight picture afforded by one single pin is, IMO, absolutely freakin' awesome.

I feel the same way. I use a single pin because I like the simplicity, although this year I used a Trophy Ridge Alpha Inline 5 pin sight. I bet I've used 1 pin sliders for 15 of my 20 years bowhunting. I have always like this setup though (adding the holdover marks). These marks are not at all confusing, in fact your eye really won't pick them up unless you are looking for them, which is what I like about it. You still have that clean one pin look, with your main pin centered in the housing, but you have marks if you need to act quickly without adjusting. Its just another option, might not be for everyone but it has worked very well for me.

I use to use the 1 5/8" and it worked well. I switched to the 2" a few years back and like it a little better. I just like having the ability to see more of the animal. I show now difference in accuracy between the two. BTW I do use the reostat feature on bright sunny days I turn it down to have a finer aiming point on my sight.

Their "adapter" is just a pair of metal spacers that are anout 1/2 wide and a longer set of screws. Its works fine though.

the stand-offs work just fine for mounting the quick removal block for my Fuse Satori lite quiver.

Don't buy the spacers, use cut offs from carbon arrows to move the quiver out, worked fine on mine!

The spacers came with my HHA. I dont think he will have to buy them if he is getting the OL-5019

I forgot to mention, I bought mine used, it didn't have them with it. I stripped out one of the allens, my fault all the way. I called HHA, they told me to send it in & fixed it free of charge. Great people to deal with!

Interesting idea with the white marks. I may have to give it a try on my hha. Thanks for the idea.

Anyone have a problem with the 2" housing dissappearing behind the riser......... if you have to move the sight toward the riser when you are getting sighted in?
