I have been shooting my Ross for 3 years now and have never really felt the need for a new bow. Lately I have been shooting every new bow on the market just for fun. I like many of them but none enough to spend the money on... until I shot the Hoyt Maxiss31. I picked up my new bow on Friday. I went with an all black 29" 70#. This will be my first Hoyt, I have stayed away from Hoyt in the past mainly because of their weight. This bow is a joy to shoot and I am looking forward to putting many many arrows through it in the near future! Lost of new bows out there, which one do you have your eye on?

Not me. Until something way better comes out than what I'm shooting I am quite content. :thumbs_up Good luck with your new bow bro!!!

I've been shooting almost every new bow as soon as they hit the shops. I love my Ross Cardiac and it's still the best shooting bow I've held. I made the mistake of shooting the PSE X Force AXE 6 and 7. I think I'm about to own a PSE for the first time in many years. The new Mathews and Hoyts are great shooting bows for sure and the Destroyers, wow!, I'm truly impressed. The Dream Season was high on my list until the AXE 7. It's not nearly as fast, but it is really a pleasure to shoot. It's almost as smooth as my Cardiac and a bit faster. The 6 was right there also, but really alot faster. Now, just to make up my mind which one....

I would like to change up this year but it will depend on funds. I, like talon, may lean towards the pse axe, if funds allow. I have shot many of the new bows and so far the axe is at the top of my list with a close second being the destroyer.

I got a hoyt alpha max 32 back in August. First compound bow i've owned in ten years. Wanted to mix it up a little bit. Black riser, camo limbs, 27 inch draw, 65#. It is an extremly smooth shooting bow. So far this year I've taken a doe and 8-pt. I'm taken the ole recurve this weekend though.

I am planning on a new Alphamax 35. I shot one last year and was the sweetest drawing bow I have ever pulled. Maybe the price will come down a bit now that the Maxxis is out. Gotta sell a couple of High Country's first...

Anyone from NW Arkansas? I hear there's a Strother's dealer in Tontitown. Anyone been there or have any info? I'm really interested in putting my hands on one before I shell out some $$$ for a bow right now. I was all set on the AXE 6, but my local shop is out right now. This might just give me the time to try out an Infinity first.

Released one Arrow from the stand last year. First Buck for the Warthog. The Firecat gets it's opportunity this year. I think I'm gonna get to spend more than one day in the stand this year...I'm sick of Afghanistan.

Yeah its called ozark sportsman's supply, David in there really knows what he is talking about and so does Clint. Last time i was in there they had a demo vanquish and one too sell, but know infinitys or sr-71s yet. That was a couple weeks ago so they might have them in by now. I drew that vanquish and all i can say is what a solid wall and nice valley. :thumbs_up

Pulled the trigger on a 2010 Mission Maniac last weekend. Upgraded to the QAD Ultra RestHD. I had been shooting a Kodiak Bow Logic 32 for the last few years. I liked the Kodiak pretty well and put some antlers on the ground with it. I fell getting out of the woods last year, didn't hurt anything, but it got me started thinking of needing a back up. The Mission is rock solid and not bad manners that I can tell. It's about 31" axle-axle. 70 lb draw limbs at 26" of draw supposed to still be 70lbs. It is adjustable down to about 21 or 22" I believe. Need to install my TruGlo micro bright sight and pump a few hundred arrows down range, but the heat an humidity has been too much recently. I will be reducing the draw on the Kodiak and passing it on to my son. 70 lbs is too much for him but I think he would be around 60 or 65.
