try looking on 3dshoots.com you can put in your zip and find Club shoots and that might give you and idea of bow shops or just go to the mathews web site and look up dealers with your zip or hoyt or bowtech too.

There is an on base club that is located right next to the airport. Next time I go by there i will get you the name and contact info.

best shop that I use is Panhandle Shooting SPorts in Crestview south of I-10 across from the ford dealer. Owners Andy and Lyle also have an indoor setup that they shoot at within a church league in crestview.

You have to have a DOD ID to shoot Choctaw but they are in the process of moving to a different site in the near future.

We also have a range but are 40 miles East of Niceville.

When I talked to them at the Eglin bow range they told me I could join their club but IF you did not have a DOD ID then you could only come onsite with another member that does have an ID card.

Inconvienent yes, but when you have no "immediate" range in the area to shoot at, being escorted isnt the end of the world.

I think I have seen your sign near the dog track right off hwy 20 but I have never checked out your range. Maybe I need to make a better effort to get over there and check it out. Its just hard to shoot right now when its 95 and the humidity chokes you out in 5 minutes.

You are right if you are accompanied by someone with DOD ID you can go in and practice. Just sucks having to do it on somebody else's schedule. They should have the kinks worked out on the new range soon though and for $20 a year membership it's well worth any aggravation right now.

Also PAC has some shoots North of you in Laurel Hill. Here is a link: http://www.panhandlearchers.com/pb/wp_09112262/wp_09112262.html

Yep Florida weather is great ain't it. That was our sign we are open from 3 to 9 M-F and 9-9 on Sat. We are usually closed on ASA weekends so you may want to call. We will have a shoot on the 20th at 2 pm if you are interested.
