My wife and I are trying to put together a hunting club comprised of hunting couples and families in which the wife/mother hunts too. My wife is very passionate about hunting but seldom has the opportunity to meet and fellowship with other lady hunters. Most of the hunting clubs we have been a part of have had very few, if any, ladies that hunt.

We have found what appears to be a good place to try and get this club up and going. We are leasing 915 acres in northern Dallas county, 20 miles south of Malvern off of Hwy 9. The land is just west of Willow, Arkansas. Here is a link to a slide show of the property and some maps of the property...

We are looking for 11 other couples/families to join with us. I know that is more people than most would like but we are trying to keep the cost down this year to get the club going. Dues will be $425.00 this year and will be looked at again before next year. If any of you are interested, give me a call. I would be glad to show anyone interested around the club.

Please disregard this thread. We will no longer be leasing this property b/c I found out today that all the surrounding leases run dogs!:pukey:

I don't need that kind of problem.

please close this thread.

Nothing like dog hunters in Arkansas to kill a great peice of ground. :thumbs_do If they would actually try to keep their dogs on their land it would not be so bad but most real hunters I know now treat them like coyotes.
