Hi, I'm new here and just as new to compound bows.

I have a couple of old Bear Compound bows and I was wondering how I can decrease the draw weight for now so I can practice with wearing myself out!

I have a Bear WhiteTail II and a smaller Pro model. They are set at 60 and 70 pounds respectively.

Also, can I do this without a bow press?

And will it increase the draw length or anything else?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

I'm not familiar with your bows but usually turning the limb bolts out will decrease the draw weight.......I wouldn't go any more than 2 complete turns from all the way in.

Ok, I'll give it a go and see how it works out.

Thanks!
