Well I just got done shooting my new Stingray Stabilizer. Just to give you a little background on me. I owned my own stabilizer company for 2 years. (Smooth Stability) As most of you know I decided to part ways from that company. I have tested and shot a LOT of stabilizers out on the market. I am very picky about my bows look and how they are set-up and work. Some people have told me I mess around to much with my set-up and worry to much about how it looks. I cant help it its just the way I am I guess. So anyway some of you know I just bought a Strothers Infinity bow which I have wanted since the ATA show. My favorite bow to date! Anyway I was checking the Strothers forum when I ran across this "stingray" stabilizer by Kevins son Kurt. My first thought was its plain looking and nothing jumped out look wise and said " I have to get this". I did some research and more reading and thought its a solid idea and everyone seemed pleased with there stabilizer after getting them. So I thought lets give it a try. I just got it today. My first impression was it looks pretty basic, but in a weird way it is cool and clean looking. You wont mistake it if its on a bow. So I unbolted my current stabilizer and began to shoot it. I was 5 shoots in to shooting and it was pretty breezy out and I was grouping arrows like a mad man. This is the best I have shot in the wind in a while! This stabilizer is starting to grow on me now. I shot some more. This thing holds like a champ!! It took all the "kick" and the cam jump out of the bow. I was finding the bow is very tame and doesn't move at all after the shot. Both cams stay right in line with the target. There is zero noise at all when I added this stabilizer. NONE. The thing just flat kills the bows movement dead. The only thing I now notice, (which I have never before) is the cable from my limb driver vibrates after the shot. I think truly that the bow is stopped so fast of its movement that its the only thing left still moving so I notice it now. I am keeping the limb driver for sure just adding some bowjacks to the cord. Great rest. So far I have to say I am VERy impressed with this stabilizer! Its kind of a sleeper I think because of the way it looks. Don't let its plain looks fool you. Its a keeper! I was using the 8" model. They also offer a 10" and a 6" will be available very soon. I was going to wait till I had more time on this stab before I shot any tournaments with it, but not any more. A few hours of shooting and its too good to take off. If anyone is looking for a good stabilizer that truly stops the post movement of your bow and helps with shock don't over look this stabilizer. I am very happy!!

Since 2011 is around the bend Kurt thought he should run a end of year special to allow shooters to buy one of the stabilizers for a discounted price.

The 2011 line will be similar with some tweaks in the finish and cosmetics, along with the total weight of stabilizers, a new model geared more toward the "target" shooter will be introduced in December.

The codes should be active by tomorrow for the following discounts.

Staff Shooter 50% off
Consumer 33% off regular price
Repeat customers 75% off regular price

The 75% is to show appreciation for buying a previous one.

The camo version is included in this discount.

Got my predator 10" stab yesterday. Put it on my SR71 this morning and have been shooting lights out. I didn't think the SR had any noise or vibe until I put the stab on. I am holding dead on and am very impressed. I was worried about the 10" version being too bulky, but it is perfect for my bow. Thanks Kevin, and good luck to your son's endeavor.

I had been waiting to get my hands on one of these since I saw them way back in July.....finally got my hands on one...shipping was incredibly fast.....got my 8" predator in about 3 days

The Stingray is very solid...adds some weight to the bow to steady it out....I got the adjustable one so I can play with it a bit...and they suck up vibration. Very nice...I cant wait to add it to my Predator Ibex
