Anyone ever hunt Levy county private land? I just got an invite to go to my friend's place up there near otter creek. (S.R. 24 @ U.S. 19) He has 80 acres up there. I've hunted devil's hammock but had no luck. Just wondering what to expect.

Used to live in Bronson. We hunted around Cedar key. Should be lots of hogs on the feeders and the deer jump the string like crazy! Aim low. Way low... And bring your thermacell.. and some back up Deet. Repel sportsman. Spray your ankles and hope for the best. The ticks are so tiny you can hardly see them and the chiggers are fun, too.

Good luck, Dan

I used to be in a club near Bronson on 24. Tons of hogs and had some good bucks. Early rut, though... Usually september.

As long as your buddy has feeders running, you should at least see some hogs.
