Hey just thought to see how many here are mountain bike riders.. I mean we hunt and we like to be outdoors.. Mountain bike riding is a great way to get in shape for hunting season also.. Lots of balance and conditioning to make sure you have a safe travel and cordination in the tree stand.. Heck you could even ride that bike to your tree.. LOL Never tried it but you could.. LOL
Here is my bike.. Just a professional Cannondale Carbon bike.. LOL :thumbs_up

AWESOME looking bike man. I have a giant xtc1 29er and your right its a great way to get in shape I lost 28 pounds in 3 months of riding. Then deer season came and we all know what happened I gained it back but it will help you drop pounds quick.

I ride a 2008 Giant Trance2. Not many mountains hear in Florida but we have many awesome technical trails. I also ride in western NC.

Closing in on 1000 miles for the year, about 1/3 off road. Fun stuff, but hunting season is going now, so commuting is all I'll be doing in September!

Yup! All Mountain and cross country. Focusing mostly on cross country, as I don't want to take myself out of archery with a botched jump! Currently using my 2011 trek hi fi dlx 29er. Also used a Custom Foes 27.5 and a specialized enduro evo. From Finger Lakes NY area

Still have my trek fuel 100, 26" carbon FS. Raced a lot when I was in my 40's, road also, and into my early 50's. Then got a tandem co-motion road bike, and did a lot of 100 mile tours with my wife when we were in our early 50's. I'd put cross tires on it, and we would ride 60+ miles on rail beds with it. Still have all my bikes, just waiting for all my aches and pains to subside before getting back into it. Crohns hit me like a sledge hammer, and every year my knees swell up during hunting season from going up and down mountains. Takes months to heal. When your eyes go bad, it's tough to see what's coming up in the low light when going fast on a mountain bike. Glasses put everything out of perspective. Enjoy it while your still young enough to.
I was never in better shape, in my life, than when I biked.
NJ State TT champions, Tandem class. We were the only tandem there, lol.
