View Full Version : Ramcat Broadhead got me!

September 8th, 2011, 04:00 PM
I was pulling an arrow out of the backside of my targets because the Ramcats always almost completely pass through the back to back block targets I have setup and stupidly I had an arrown in my other hand that was holding the targets down. When i pulled the arrow through the backside of the target the other Ramcat got me pretty good!! At least I know they are sharp!!

I was very impressed with the blood trail, I was able to follow it later from the target all the way into the house with no problem!http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/images/smilies/cool.gif

Just got 5 stitches in my left hand from pulling a Ramcat out of the foam target and slicing it to the bone. My wife said that while I was at the hospital she saw Stevie Wonder up in the field following the blood trail. These buggers are nasty.

September 9th, 2011, 04:51 AM

September 9th, 2011, 05:06 AM

September 9th, 2011, 06:23 AM

September 9th, 2011, 08:25 AM
My pocket knife will do the same damage. Doesn't mean I'm going to duck tape it to one of my arrows.

September 9th, 2011, 08:56 AM
Heal quickly. Try getting some vitamin E and vitamin A gel caps. Cut the caps open and apply the gel along the wound. It will help the skin heal MUCH faster and it will reduce the scaring. Hate that you got sliced.
