Hi, I'd like to buy me some Cobalts and want to fletch 'em with Kurly Vanes.
In shoot a Mathews Legacy, with GKF Premier rest, currently shooting with prongs.
should I convert to lizzard tongue or golden guide? Or what other set-up should I consider?

I would think that a drop away would give you better clearance for those vanes.

I am using a Trophy Taker Drop-away and am having very good luck with my Spin-Wings. If you are using the 1.5" I would get the Beiter tools to install. They are pretty fragile and was advised by Lancaster Archery to only use a drop-away. Take a look at warnerbeiter.com for these tools. They will probably only work with the smaller diameter shafts though.++
What size of Cobalts are you using? I have these mounted on ACC's and ACE's.
I have heard that the Spin-Wing tape is better than the Kurles, but they may have improved it.

I have had great luck with the same set-up that Deezlin uses and as a finger shooter I found that a tight groove nock helps keep the arrow on the rest. Friar Tuck is also on the money :)
