OK, I shot through 2 deer this early season, and I missed one cleanly (my fault). All three arrows went into rocky soil after a passthrough, or straight in on the missed shot. All of the blades had dulled some, some were really sharp still, and none brokenor bent. All the ferrules look untouched. Even the black finish is still on the edges of the tip, and the tips are still very sharp. What steel do they use?

Thats a good thing. Just switch the blades out and go again. I know the blades are a german steel. Good designed head for sure.
