View Full Version : Which CT Rhino?

I'm shooting a Bowtech Allegience with a 29" draw and set at 68lbs. I'm currently shooting Gold Tip 7595 cut at 28" with a 125 grain point. Which Carbon Tech Rhino shaft would be recommended, 45/70 or 55/80?

I would recommend the 55/80 if you are looking for an arrow similiar in spine to the 75/95 Gold Tip. They do weigh 11.5 GPI which is a tad heavy for speed freaks, but great for hunting. I shoot the 65/80 Whitetail @28"/65# w/100 grain heads for deer and elk. It is a good choice if you are trying to get down to the 10.0 GPI weight of the 45/70, as it is 9.5 GPI. The 45/70 might work, but it would be iffy with your bow shooting 125 grain tips in my opinion.
