Hi,

I was wondering what the difference between 452X and 8125 for strings and cables was. I recently ordered some new WC strings and cables for my xtec, and they were made with 8125 because I didn't specify. I was wondering what the difference is. I see people shoot both, and I even see some people use 452X for cables, and 8125 for strings.

Thanks for the info.
AJ

Approximately 7673... :D

Since I didn't specify what X was, there is not enough information given, because X could take on any value... (sorry, engineering major, math minor  )

But seriously, what's the difference ... anybody ...

8125 has a little creep where 452x has no creep. Check out BCY'S website.

Rich has got it. People who opt for speed use 8125 while people who are fussy about their draw length use 452X, in my opinion.

I've been using 452x for 2 years now and its super stuff. No stretch at all.But i did loose a little speed switching from 8125 but it was worth it.
