I'm new to this forum and don't know the jargon. What is meant by "ttt" and "pm sent"? I'm not stupid just ignorant. Thanks.

"So ttt is like a bookmark??"
Sorta, but it doesn't just hold your place, it keeps moving your place to the front...
When I post this response, you will notice it takes the thread to the top of the forum, showing up as a new post which takes you to this thread. But it may get pushed down by new threads, especially in high-volume forums, so one way folks have of making sure their thread gets back to the top of the forum (important if you're selling something) is by just posting again in the thread. A polite way of saying "hey, look at this thread again", is by simply posting ttt, "take to top" which takes the whole thread back to the top of the forum. You'll also see "bump", for bumping the thread back to the top of the forum, but again, any post will take the thread back to the top.
