how do u recall log in name

this has got to be simple but i need help. how do i get this thing to recall your log in name. i type in my name and do the check mark thing. what do i do to get it to come back in the block the next time i want to log in.

I think you just double click on the blank window and a dropdown will appear with your user id in it. click on that and it will jump up into the window. Your password on the other hand will have to be typed in each time you log in. Is that what you were asking?

thanks but it still didnt work for me. i am putting user name then checking the remember me box. is that correct or do i need to do something else to save it. i logged off then double clicked on user name like u said but nothing came up. need more help. thanks
