I have (2) sony s40's that I hacked 2 years ago. They worked great during that time. Now this year I went to put them out and they both say "turn camera off and back on again." I do this and it just says the same thing. What's going on? and how can I fix them? I miss these cameras. They were great!! Please help.

Thanks

KT

You should get this error when you turn on a 4 wire hacked s40 and s600. By tying the common with the lens cover wire you should be able to view the camera without a error. some people put a switch between these wires to amke the procedure easier. If you do not have a switch you can make sure the lcd is on and turn on the control board. When the control board turns the camera on then you should not have a error. If you have this error then you have a problem with the front cover or broken wire.
