: Bent cable slide rod

Ive noticed these on a few omens on here and the omen im purchasing has one on it as well. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to these over a standard quide rod? Any input is greatly appreciated

Are you talking about a solid cable rod or the new type of flex slide?

It will reduce torque and bring your pins almost inline with your string if I recall correctly.

Bent which way? My BMXL has an offset bent rod but it sticks straight out from the riser. So it essentially allows a dropaway with a containment bar in my opinion.

My Dominator has the offset bend along with an angle similar to the aftermarket ones so it would affect cable side torque at full draw (favorably).
