Playing around with my DNA and did more numbers tonite. Mind you that the bow is losing 7 fps because I have it set at 75% let off. I didnt do any IBO factoring, so be my guest :teeth:
55.1# -28 7/8" DL at 75% let off

300 gr. - 320 fps
350 " - 301
398 " - 286
436 " - 275
500 " - 258.5

I cant put this bow down, I enjoy shooting it that much! The draw is super smooth and no humps or dumps. Very solid (cable) stop wall and super quiet, the 500 gr arrow made the bow super quiet. Quiet is my goal, not speed.

A picture of it for those who havent seen it. The string has a meta peep, loop and monkey tails on it.

Nice Jerry. Those are some great numbers for 55 pounds. I just picked up my 65 pounder tonight. I have it all set up right now but have to do the final cam tune tomorrow when I have more time. The draw is very nice on the bow. Going to put it in my draw board and get it all set up. cant wait.

Great speeds!

The DNA is the best hunting rig for 2013 imho!!

You are right when you said the DNA was quiet too! I do believe it is the quietest bow I've ever shot!

Checked mine yesterday. Set @ 60#, 26.5 on mods and 27 on the stops, it shot a 331 gr. arrow @ 295, and a 415 gr. @ 273. I'm happy!!! I only lost 4 fps switching mods from 27 down to 26.5 to get a little more let-off.

I've been shootin bows since back in the 60's and the bows of today amaze me with the energy they have. This DNA rocks at 55# and I cant imagine what a 65 or 70#er would do. The Chinese would need to wear hard hats! lol

My DNA set at 69# and 28.5" dl is shooting a 402 grain Axis at 312. That puts it right on the upper end of IBO.

I would guess in between 285 and 292 or so.

IF your stats are accurate and assuming peep and loop at 70% let off, I believe you'll be in the mid to upper 290's.

My brace height is a little under 6in. let off is at 70%. Dont know if having the draw stop at 28 makes a difference.

Has anyone had issues with there control cable hitting the side of there string stopper, I'm just starting to see wear marks on the string and after waxing strings I'm see wax rub off on the stopper rod??

I noticed my cables were close to the stopper when I had my bow in my draw board. Im sure some of the PSE pros will respond here to help you out soon. Maybe you can use another slide that holds the cables closer to the cable guard.

Without seeing it, I would say you need to tighten down your cable slide rod a lil bit to get clearance.

Check your static cam lean first, then you can adjust the flexguard if needed, also you can move it to the other set of holes it needed. My guess is that the guard is in the top set now move it to the lower set if so.

Thanks, you are correct I'm using the top hole for the slider, I'll move it's and see what happens
