View Full Version : Hammer Vs Evo Max

I'm looking at both of these bows.

From what I can see the only difference is the BH.

I'm new to archery and everything I've read so far says a longer BH like the Hammer has is more forgiveing and accurate.
A shorter BH like the Evo has, has more speed, but is less forgiving and less accurate.

Right now I'm shooting the Brute X and I really like it, the draw feels smooth to me, the back wall feels solid.
My only complaint is the weight of the bow.

I'm thinking about upgrading to either the Evo of the Hammer, I'm just don't know which one would be better.

Anyone shoot both or have any input.

I own an Evo,and its an amazing bow,i have heard great things about the hammer,havent shot it,go shoot both,you will decide after you shoot them..Grizz

Dont believe everything you read on Brace height and Accuracy out of bows,it's the indian,99% of the time..Grizz

Evo has the new flex guard and different limb pockets,compared to the Hammer.That doesn´t mean you are not be able to shoot as good with the Hammer than with any more expensive Pro Series bow.
