Hey guys,
I would like to get my wife and daughter started in archery. And I was wondering what the range of adjustment was in my 07 black ice. It is a 60# pound bow set at 28.5 draw. What is the shortest dl and the lightest draw# I can back it down to.

i have a black ice and my manual says to limit the number of turns out on the limb bolts is four. i have fudged that a bit, but i don't think 4 turns will get you from 70 pounds down to 40 pounds. i wouldn't try it. what newbie to bow might be giving you is the range of draw weights available. mine is a max 60 pounds and i can back it down to 50 pounds pretty safely. you can get the draw length down to 26 inches.

the black ice is a sweet bow.
