For all you guys out there with worn buss cables from the tiny draw stop on this bow you really need to give Bomar Archery Products a call and get a Bomar draw stop for your outlaw. Just got mine installed and man is it solid! Instead of a 1/16" peg eating away at your buss cable and separating your serving you can have a flat 3/4" piece of aluminum contacting it making it almost as solid as a limb stop. Be sure to set the DL mod 1/2" shorter than the draw stop mod. I shoot a 27.5" draw length so i had my draw stop set at 27.5" and the DL mod at 27".

Just picked up my outlaw. I put about 150+ thorough it at the range came home and inspected the bow. Sure 'nuff. The serving making contact with the draw stop is worn in and separating. I read this thread and you have my attention. Can I get the info you have on the bomar drawstop? Conveniently, I am also a 27.5 DL. So I'll be setting mine up like yours.

I also asked my local bowtech pro shop about the bomar. I got this look of disapproval from the tech and he pretty much escorted me out of the shop. So no help there. But if I reserve the string it's just going to continue to do this. So I would like to do what you did. Thanks

I put one of Bomar's stops on my new Deadeye new out of the box. It is a must have for these bows due to the cable wear. I marked the stop and filed the overall length down so it wouldn't stick out past the edge of the cam. Give them a call they are GREAT people to deal with.

Can you post pictures of the bomar installed on your bow?

I have an infinite edge that I am thinking of putting bomar stops on to make a more solid back wall and stop the serving from coming apart when I get a set of custom strings installed near the end of the month.

Saw someone else on here say the Bomar will void your warranty... Any truth to that?

After much more research.....yes it will void your warranty. I ended up taking mine off because it was causing my cam to over-rotate due to having the draw stop set 1/2" longer than my draw length. I ended up getting a new 2013 cam that had a different draw stop on it. Haven't had any problems with serving wear from draw stop. The minor wear i have is coming from where the cam breaks over the buss cable.

I had read about the serving wear due to the draw stop pin. Here's how I prevented it on mine...cheap and simple!
I easily have well over 10K shots on this bow. Mine is a 2013 model with the deeper idler wheel. I don't have any separation on the serving, just a minor "glossing" due to the cam. I also glued a small piece of silicon peep tubing on the pin as well.
I shoot this thing a ton with indoor league and 3D going on now. I have 57' clear in my basement so this thing gets fired 5-6 days a week. I'm planning on installing a new cable set early fall before hunting season. Most likely a set of JBK stings...http://www.jbkstrings.com/
