View Full Version : Rest for Deadeye

Ok, I got a killer deal on a new 2012 Deadeye ($285.00). As soon as I got it home I went to put on my QAD LD rest. Low and behold the top containment arm interferes with the flex guard. I put the taller launcher on and moved the rest down under the guard. With this set-up it looks like the arrow is going to run aprox 1/16in or so below the berger. To late to shoot it tonight, so. Does anyone think this is going to be a problem? I won't be able to shoot the thing until Tuesday to find out. Any other suggestions on a different rest if it turns out to be a problem? Will the new HDX rest fit a little better?

Thanks, Eric

I am using the HDX with no clearance problems on my Deadeye.

Looks like I may need a spacer on the rest to get some more clearance.

Got in touch with QAD, they sent me a spacer block and bolt. Installed yesterday, problem solved.

Limbdriver ProV works great on a Deadeye! Just set a friends up last week!
