So Diamond has come out with a new bow sold exclusively through Bass Pro - Redhead Blackout SS. New riser, 335 IBO, 7" BH, Revolver dampeners, 7" Hunter stab, Clutch string stop, and ONLY 3.5 lbs. This has got to be fast single cam bow. Looks impressive.

Does anyone have one yet? Has anyone got to shoot one yet?

Any pics other that what's on bass pro's web-site?

I have shot one. I like it a lot. I shoot a bowtech insanity cpx right now. It has very little to no hand shock. It quite and fast. I'm thinking about buying one and using it as a target bow. Its the nicest bow in the Redhead line by Bass Pro.

About time, I didn't think they existed. I want to try one real bad but the closest Bass Pro is +100 miles away. I wish this was a mainstream bow so more shops would have it. The specs look impressive. What was the draw stoke like? With that speed it has to have a pretty radical cam; was there a huge hump to get over? Please tell more.

Its very smooth! There is a very slight drop at the end. Fast. Quite. Smooth.

I just bought a Blackout SS this weekend and love it. It's very smooth and quiet. In my opinion you wont be disappointed.

The Blackout or Blackout SS?

Both. The SS has a little less vibration. My favorite part about the SS is they offer it in Black.
