I voted bass because 95% of the time I fish I fish for largemouth. But I prefer smallies to largemouth.

i like whatever sucks in my lure. Doesn't matter to me really if it's a bluegill or a catfish.

My faverate fish to go for is CARP. But i put musky as my second choice.

July 24th, 2006, 01:26 PM
All of the above for me.

Depends on what I feel like catching, really. Although this year it has been largely about getting onto Lake Erie for the walleye. Simply amazing this year. AMAZING!

Fishing for steelhead on the piers of Lake Ontario with a noodle rod and 6lbs test is by far the most religious expirience I can have.

That is a lot of good eating. I used to go up to the Columbia every year when the smelt were running for Sturgeon, but with the archery shoots, I haven't had the time. They are a ball to catch, and great eating.:darkbeer:

give u all one good guess on what i fish for. i would love to do some professinally catfishing. my second favorite fishing is to hit the creek and catch some smallies on the ol fly rod.

October 23rd, 2006, 07:35 PM
All of the above for me! Bass and Pike are my favourite.

October 24th, 2006, 08:28 PM
Bass, whites, blacks, and smallmouth, crappie and salmon (when I get to go to Alaska and catch them)

October 29th, 2006, 12:00 AM
I must be an oddball. I have no desire to ever fish for another largemouth bass again in my life. I am certain I will catch plenty while fishing for other species but it's all you ever see people do or fishing for on TV. Kinda over done.

All of the above except muskies, sturgeon and northern pike. I haven't fished where these fish live. Lucky for them. Fish fear me.

If you've never hooked a Steelhead, you don't know what you're missing!

Flyfishing for Trout has been on the top of my list for a couple of years as well.
