Well, it's almost here, Oct. 15th opening day of NY southern tier archery season. Unfortunately sound s like it's going to be a windy day out there. Good luck to all and be safe, wear those safety harnesses if you're going to be up in a tree especially with the weather report.
Finally!!! I was hoping that this would be the year that bow season opened a little earlier. Maybe next time.
I've been trying to figure out which of my stands will be the least wind blown tommorrow. I have one stand near a ravine. Hopefully that will be a good place to start.
It won't do much good to sit on a field edge in 40mph winds. How much would you have to lead a deer in a 40mph cross wind anyway??
