Compact Tripod

What are some relatively inexpensive compact tripods? I'm looking for one that fold ups to less than 17". I want to be able to carry it around in my ELI Bowcase. It's about 32" long and 16" wide.

I like the Manfrottos, but they are expensive.

i bought my manfrotto used at a camera store that ahd alot of used gear. i think i paid abotu 125 for it. i had bought a cheap one off ebay for like 20 bucks but it was flimsy and wouldnt stay on target when tightened. check with your local camera store in thier used section. nothing wrong with a used tripod. mine will last me forever.
