Custom patriot "finland" .... This is just a eg of our custom work. A job like this takes very little time to design, so there is minimum wait. Any country is catered for with any combination of colors and flags, whatever you can think of. :darkbeer:
This particular wrap will not be repeated, it is taken, although something "similar" can be made.

Man these flames are popular. Every request I have had in the last week has been for flames
We have a tonne of requests for deer and other outlines. We do accommodate for these requests. Here is an eg of a custom elk flame theme. Again this wrap is taken and won't be repeated although similar is available upon request. :)

Can you make these wraps so that it appears that the front of the flame is "materializing" from the raw arrow shaft, kind of like it blends in, instead of being an abrubt transition from raw carbon shaft, to neon flame?
here are the other colours to Flame Flo....... These flo colors print just as good as they look here !!

Our X-Series exclusives carry a small fee for design and exclusivity. Once your x-series is yours, it remains yours. We do not even show examples of our x-series, simply to protect your exclusivity and to make sure no-one else "copies" your wrap. Worth the little extra if you dare to be "different".
X-Series are only available as "Ultimate X". :darkbeer:

Any US dealers going to carry Crunch Camouflage tentatively?
SO far we have a few Aussie dealers that are definitely going ahead with stocking it. :D Very early stages yet, but all is looking good so far.
For the larger international market, we are looking at licensing others to print, manufacture and market the products. The same way other companies do. Again though, very early in the game yet. :darkbeer:

Yeah I am really liking those crunched axis. I can't wait to get some more in. I had no idea they would look so good !!
I have the first promo shirt for 3d here. It is white with camo banded sleeves, logos and stuff. Looks good. The full camo shirts are around 2 weeks away. The design has gone to the printers, then the material has to be made into clothing. I will have a few sample suits sent out to dealers and then we will see how it goes from there. :D

Not sure which way round this is supposed to be on the arrow, but no matter.
I went with actual metallics for your wrap as the fades that imitate the "shine" in the bands, clashes with the "actual" gloss shine of the wrap. I went with gold leaf up front, and ,matte silver to the tail. The camo is still pixelated as in your original, but I will clean that up for you before the final print, and I'll also tone it down a bit deeper. Here is an eg of your wrap so far. :darkbeer:

That's the way it's supposed to be. It's MARPAT (Marine pattern), often called "digital" camouflage.
I don't know if I like the way it looks on that wrap, though.

Awsome.
Question. I'm going to be shooting flo. blazers with my wraps, but would like the wraps to be longer, just for looks, what length would you recommend?
And would it be possible to get 6 flo. green and 6 flo orange, or do they need to be the same color for a dozen?

I would go with a 5.5" - 6.5" wrap. At that length there is plenty of room for the design to show once the blazers are on. The wraps are packaged and sold by the dozen, but I could do 2x6 for you, as long as you are ordering one full doz total. They would be in one packet. :darkbeer:

The metallics are incredible . I don't know if I'm 100% in love with the camouflage band at the rear of the wrap (whether digital or standard). I'll leave this one up to you. Maybe some red flames in the area that the camouflage is in now, maybe some reddish lightening or something incorporating a camouflage pattern.. Make it cool. Just leave the two emblems and the red / gold striping (I LOVE that gold!!!).
Like I said, use your creativity (which you obviously utilize quite well) and make it cool. Then, we'll be done and I'll pay you.

That is the ultimate my friend!!! Almost seems unfair to all the critters. Needs to be called "Stealth Camo". Cannot wait to see that on some clothing. I will take the first set! When the dipping process is ready the bow is waiting.:darkbeer:
Might be sooner than you expect mate  Things are moving forward at and incredible pace. We have just about closed a deal on dipping arrows and bows, a couple of well known brands are moving to Crunch when their contract expires with the "other" brand, and the clothing line is set to release in October 07. That's just for starters :D

SgtSabre..... here is your new wrap. I ditched the silver and went gold leaf all the way, every band. The gold is then outlined in a dull metallic olive which accents the gold nicely. I chose to make up a marbled flame from yellow through orange and red on the tail, again set off with gold and olive trim. Added some fade to the bands also to soften the impact. Hope you like it. :)
If anything needs changing, let me know. :darkbeer:

Well we are officially 1 yr old to the day today. We registered our company on the 08 August 2006 although we had actually started from home in june of 06. What a year. A couple scary moments there, but we made it through the hardest times and things are only looking promising from here. With our new Crunch Camouflage lines in the works, rights to it being sold to bow companies, and our latest products hitting the shelves, we are set for a huge year. Our team has grown to over 30 shooters world wide, ranging in age from teens to the most experienced of shooters, the OzCrest family is in for thrilling 2nd year. So hang on tight boys and girls, here we come. :cocktail:

SgtSabre, your wraps are well on their way. I included 3 x 12 numbered mini stickers for you to number your arrows with. I figured that if you lose or break an arrow, your sequence of numbers will be lost. So with these mini stickers, you can sequence them as you wish. Apply them last, and replace them when needed, as they are removable. If and when, you run out of these numbers, I will send you more. The gold bands are already part of the wrap and do not need separate application. :darkbeer:

These are the best arrow wraps I have ever seen. They are high quality and the best value for money in town. I would rather pay for this quality once than buy something a little cheaper and have to replace it over and over again. Thankyou Oz for putting some love back into the sport. For awhile there it seemed as though archery and bowhunting had just become all about a quick dollar. Good to see that someone out there in the industry is more about passion and less about money. Youve won me and I dare say anyone else in this industry who truly loves their sport and are not just in it for a quick fix.:):):)

Announcement >>>> SINGLE LAYER WRAPS HAVE FAILED>
OzFX single layer wraps FAILED our final "extreme testing" in every department. The ink reacts with glues whether it is solvent or laser. We placed a wrap at the front of an arrow in one test, and it smudged beyond recognition after only 7 impacts into the foam target, 1 impact into sand, 3 impacts into rubber. Our 2 layer Ultimate X, and our 2 layer Standards, stand up to at least 1000 shots into all the above mediums with NO wear or image loss.
We are squashing the OzFX singles altogether and are now exploring new avenues for even lighter materials and products. We felt it absolutely necessary to perform these recent tests on solvent based "industry standard" wraps, to once and for all prove that our products are far beyond any competition.
Our LIMB FX are not subject to impact or glue, so we have PASSED this product and testing was 100% satisfactory. Our new website, which is currently under construction, will have production designs available, and custom designs upon request. We hope to complete the new site within a month.
Cheers to all

cbrenn71,when my wife and I applied our wraps we used an arrow spinner to get an even line and pressure on the wrap. The end result was a neat and clean finish.

I will do an application in a moment and take some photo's and post some "in depth" instructions shortly. Cutthroats "arrow spinner" technique is a great and easy way to get it done also. :)

Here are some detailed instructions on how to apply an OzCrest. The pics did not come out so I did a low res video clip instead. I don't have time to upload it right now so I will do it first thing tomorrow.
Step1/ I find that sitting at a table with the arrows tip on my hip, shaft leaning against the table, with the tail upright.
2/ Peel the printed decal away from it's backing paper. Supporting the arrow tail in your left hand (arrow tail pointing away) tack down the tip of the decal at the nock end.
3/ You should hold the remainder of the decal away from the shaft at tension. Slide your thumb slowly down the decal in a straight line. Now slide your thumb up and down in vertical lines, turning the shaft a little each time until you make it all the way around.
4/ Take notice of where you finished wrapping the decal. Call this the join. Do not start the clear wrap here. Rotate the arrow a little. Peel the clear from it's backing paper. Start the clear wrap 5mm to one side of the decal join. The clear and the decal joins should now be off set and overlapped, not together. This adds strenghth by not allowing it to ever "peel up". Apply the clear the same way as in steps 1 through 3.
NB... it does not really matter which hand you use to wrap in aeither direction, as I demonstrate in the clip. I will post the link for the vid in the morning
Hope this helps cbrenn :darkbeer:

I finally got some arrows wrapped. got my hunting arrows, GT Pro Hunters wrapped with the Shaman 2 wraps, and my 3D arrows, Beman 9.3's wrapped with the Velocity wraps. I cut the Velocity wraps down to 4" to save a bit of weight, and to look better with the 1.5" mini Blazers. I'll get Jens arrows wrapped in the next few days, and get pics posted.
Here are some pics....

Not that I am a pro at this, but the following steps are how I have wrapped mine.
you can use a mouse pad or similar, anything that has some flexibility to its surface. I have purchased a gardners knee pad.
1.Begin by peeling the paper backing from the colored wrap.
2.Once removed, confirm the direction of the wrap and place it FACE DOWN on the pad.
3.Looking streight down at the wrap, position the arrow shaft by aligning nok end with the end of the wrap, and align the arrow along the lebght of the wrap. you should be holding the arrow approx 1/4" above the wrap at this point until all is aligned as you desire. (continued)
ddetar00
August 16th, 2007, 08:11 PM
4.Carefully place the arrow shaft on the wrap keeping all aligned.
5.While applying gently downward pressure, roll arrow toward you to pick up the leading edge.
6.Then roll arrow away from you, maintaining doward pressure, until completely wrapped.
7. whil continuing the pressure, roll back and forth to be sure the adhesive as adhered to the shaft.
8.Repeat the above steps to apply the clear wrap. Be sure to offset the seams to ensure a good seal.
Con't...

Thanks Dennis !!! That is a fantastic and easy way to do it, and a brilliant set of instructions to match. Legend mate :darkbeer:
Here is the link to that video demo I mentioned. Now we have three methods to choose from. Cutthrats arrow spinner method, Dennis "knee pad" method. And my original method. So far I would say that Dennis method is by far the easiest and I will be giving that a try myself. :)

August 16th, 2007, 08:22 PM
9.The final steps involve heating the clear wrap. Care should be taken here as it is easy to get the film too hot:confused:.
10.I use an embosing gun which can be picked up at any scrap booking store, Hobby Lobby, Michaels etc.
11.Begin with the leading edge, concentrate on this area first.
12.I use a piece of the paper backing (slick side against the film) to help smooth the film and ensure a good bond. wrap the paper around the shaft and slowly spin. be sure to pay attention to the area where the colored wrap begins.
13.Once you have the leading edge complete, heat the remaining film and spin within paper to smooth it out.
That's about it, not too hard, just have patience and do not try and rush the process. You will be shooting your new OzCrested arrows in no time!

We have been recieving payments for orders for HALF DOZENS and WE DON"T SELL IN HALF DOZENS> ONLY BY THE DOZEN PLEASE>
The 4" 2 for 1 deal is only for THE SAME DESIGN. We DO NOT supply at sale price HALF DOZENS ADDED UP TO MAKE 2 DOZEN. ONLY THE SAME DESIGN is available as 2 doz for the price of one. If you send a payment with instructions to mismatch half dozens your payment will be sent back.
It costs us more time and money to break up and package half dozens or less. I don't know why people think this is available, as I have always stated "packaged and sold by the dozen". :darkbeer: I have allowed this once or twice in special circumstance where the customer has asked and I have said yes. Please do not ask anymore as we will no longer do this at all.

DUCK29 your wraps are coming along better than I expected. I have worked out how to screen onto the metallic so you will have a two ton blue and two tone chrome fade flame on a black chrome background. The deer skull will be a black chrome also. I used up what I had left of the chrome experimenting on this new process so I have no more until monday when the next shipment arrives. I will run the final print then. These will floor you mate  :darkbeer:

Hey Rich, there used to be a paint job....saw it on quite a few street bikes and cars that looked white but changed to purple, pink, etc. as your angle changed. Know what I mean? Can this be done in a wrap? Anyone else know what that color was called?

I know what you mean Rogbo, and that was a like a candy pearl white that had a rainbow effect. I will do some experimenting with a new holochrome that refracts the rainbow spectrum off a chrome background. It may be possible to have something like this over a pearl white instead of chrome. Good idea mate, cheers :darkbeer:

I will have something ready for you to look at on monday Jerry. At first I thought the "match grain" in flo green, but now I am thinking our "pacific dream" pattern in a 'fire orange' through to flo yellow, with some copper banding with chrome highlights, and a few black and brown accents to bring the bands out. Should be a show stopper mate. :darkbeer:

Here you go Dennis mate, they turned out so sweet I had to wrap some arra's for my curve. I went all out with the metallic and inlaid gold trim down to 0.3mm outlined in olive, against a pearl white. They are pure class mate, just beautiful. Gold kills the chrome on this one :D In the post first thing tomorrow morning along with your crunch customs. I had to finally use gloss on your crunch wraps as the shipment of matte was stuffed up and I won't have any for another week. Gloss will be fine mate , I use it and I have good success hunting

Are you referring to the Crunch that you posted pics of containing the yellow and gold bands? Are the pics still yet to be posted. Thay all look incredible.
