Here's a variation on the Phoenix design I'm working on for a custom job request. Lots of white in there for a brighter wrap. :)

Ok TEAM, I need all your profiles re-sent with only the required info, like the profiles on the current site. I will also need all of you that have taken game this past yr, to provide us with pics and stories for the new website. A new section for bragging and pics from our staff.
NEW !!!!!!
The PUB > is going to be a new section for OzCrest users. Kind of support forum. It will include these sections for starters, and is only for OzCrest users.
BAR (general conversation)
BISTRO (for the jrs)
GRILL (hunting)
THE SHED (target shooters)
and the all new TAKE IT OUTSIDE members only forum (for those odd disagreements) Should be great entertainment.
Our new dealers have been added to the existing website, so I will email out all your login details over the weekend. We are updating the 2008 pricelist today for all you new dealers.
New design being uploaded this weekend, including all of those fantastic designs from CoppertoneSPF15.

Thanks Oz. Still thinking on the stereogram idea, if you could do a limb cover where the Martin Cat leapt into view the M4L guys would keep you in business all by themselves:)
Have you done any work with the 3M scotchbrite reflective vinyls?

Thanks Oz. Still thinking on the stereogram idea, if you could do a limb cover where the Martin Cat leapt into view the M4L guys would keep you in business all by themselves:)
Have you done any work with the 3M scotchbrite reflective vinyls?
Yup we have all the colours in stock, and use the reflective a fair bit. The stuff is thicker than regular vinyl, but works well as a single layer. We also have a new product to launch soon, which allows pure reflective designs, with multiple colours, so any design we have , can be made as a full reflective, as of this week. Again they are a little thicker and heavier than our Ultimate X, but worth it. I will have pics later this week, once the materials are ready.
I'll get in touch with the Martin, and get rights to their logo hopefully, then we can start on some of those limb FX with the cat  Hey PHIL, you want to have a go at this one mate ?
Also we have improved our limb FX, and they are now easily removed in one peel, with no need for any scraping or solvents. With the others, the vinyl ages and becomes almost permanent and impossible to remove in one go, and picking at the left pieces, scraping, and solvent rubs, can damage different finishes on bow limbs. The new FX are tougher, and can be peeled off whole and intact, ready for a new design to be applied. Now there is no limit to how many times you can change your limb graphic. They do not smudge, wear or scratch, and are 100% solvent proof.

And to the top for this thread. I've spent tons of time on the ozcrest site looking through the designs. So many!! I personally think the Phoenix Rising is an outstanding design. But it's all about personal choice. I've spoken with "Mr. Crest" via PM's several times (and I mean several times). This guy isn't just a creator of some of the best aroow crests available, he's also a veritable fountain of information where archery in general is concerned. He's helped me a ton - and helped me to get set up so that I've had my best hunting year yet. And the only reason he did it was because he wanted to help. No kidding - I pestered him a bunch and he never even flinched. He just kept helping. With this in mind, and knowing that he knows of what he speaks, I can't wait to get my wraps. And yeah - with me at the bow these wraps will definately be tested for toughnes:embara:. I'll keep everyone posted. In the mean time I'd like to thank Rich for all he's done. And Mrs. Crest is outstanding as well. Thanks guys!

Yep - next time you see him tell him I tried that 'hunting on the ground' thing. While I was watching a six pointer and a doe sneak behind me at about 45 yards another doe sneaked up (snuck up?) to my left in the high grass I was kneeling in. We looked at each other for a few seconds then she took off barking the whole time. The old girl wouldn't shut up! Grabbed up my stuff and lit around the end of the woods and got out of there. From now on I'm hunting from above!!

Yeah good point mate  I barely have any time these days. My newest rig has had all of 40 shots out of it, and it is now being sold  I do have 3 hunting bows currently though, with some schmicko new HOYTs on the way too . These days I just have a shot or two in my private shooting lane to keep in form, and wait until those few big hunting trips each yr. I have a trip in three weeks for some big billy's, then I might have time to hit the nationals, then off to NZ in march 08, straight from there to hunt three properties over east. CAN"T WAIT !!!!! Then its back to work until october with a few short trips in my home state in between, if there is time

All kidding aside - before I even knew who Rich really was I was getting tips from him, swapping stories and such. This guy is the epitome of Archers helping Archers. Now that I know how busy he had been the whole time I'm even more impressed. All he concerned himself with was making my archery experience the best it could be. I can only hope that I stand up to the standards Rich lives by. Mr. OzHuntsman you are one of our greatest assets. Thank you!

I am back from Ohio. Trying to survive on about 2 hours of sleep here. I went out this morning and shot a doe at 7:45 with my .308 Dropped here where she stood and took out her spine and major arteries. My dads still out looking for a buck. Apparently my system crashed when I was away and I had to do a restore last night, I will have photoshop up and running soon I hope. all things considered though.

I'd like to take credit for actually cresting these arrows, but I can't.:embara: (See "the master himself"). My wife says "they're sexy!" I have to agree. Yet another reason to get out there - I just have to see one of these disappear into "their target". And I reckon I'll have to figure out how to do it from the ground - I've been challenged so now I'll have to produce. Anyway, how about these? Sweeeeet!

You're right! Unfortunately I don't have that kind of will power. I just get the feeling these will look much better zipping along through the air than they would in a case. They could look even better disappearing into the target and emerging on the other side (with a brand new color in tow!) I'm also guessing they'll wash up just fine! Only one way to find out.

Absolutely. Sounds like a Christmas wrap.
Here's an design idea that you might like too. Metallic/reflective red faded to a flo green with print/design on top. We can slap Santa Claus on there if you like. :D
Prices are $15.95 dz shipped for the Ultimate X wraps.
$19.95dz shipped for the Elite series wraps.
I can also give 10% discount for orders of 3dz or more.
Ultimate X is a poly- synthetic with a over laminate. Brighter color, 15% more opacity so the colors are SOLID. Easy 1 step peel removal. No soaking or scraping needed for removal. They are thinner and lighter than a standard. Extremely tough. (0.63gpi, 0.00009" thick poly-synthetic vinyl ... less than a mil!! With overwrap, thickness is under 2mil)
Elite series are hand made metallic magic with candy pearls and lots of the coolest stuff ever with the strength of the UltX wraps.

Rich posted quite a few pics of wraps with metallic banding and pearlescent colors. Post 475 has a pic of metallic gold/orange flames. .
I don't make the actual wraps, just the designs. I can show you what a proof picture would look like, but I'd have to get Rich to make the wraps for some sample pics of the real wraps. If you'd like to see a certain design concept, go ahead and pm me the details. I'll get to work on it Sunday evening when I'm back on my comp. If you have an email addy, include that and I'll email you the wrap pics. :)

OK...need some help for a colorblind shooter :)
What Blaser vane colors would you use with these wraps? Going to shoot 3D indoors with these U/L22 Pro's. They have been hard shooting SOB's lately and I stripped the vanes off because I have 2 weeks before the next indoor match. Hated to do it because changing things around when they work is not normally a smart move. Be that as it may, what colors would YOU use to dazzle the eyeballs of the shooters next to you, hehehe?

Some white or purple Blazers would mesh will with those wraps imo. Personally, I'd put some tre bark purple Gateway feathers on those though. I'd hand pick out the feathers with most purple/white in it and use a 2" shield cut chopper. That would look sweet!

Well, I ended up trying some in all white and all yellow. I'm waiting on some purple/white Rayzors and purple Blasers.
What I found interesting was that I screwed up a couple of the fletches and was able to prep the shafts very fast by peeling off the vanes and wiping the clear overlay with acetone. Sure makes life easy.

I love that versatility!! Saves me a load of time when I can strip a damaged feather, stick on a new one, and be back shooting that same arrow within a minute or two. Makes me wonder how we ever got by with the plain ol non-refletchable wraps.:wink:

Well - I haven't had a chance to test the versatility yet!! Hundreds of shots on these Ozcrest wraps and as yet can't tell they've ever been shot!! All through a whisker biscuit, some up to the fletchings (and beyond:eek:) into the target. Maybe if I were a better archer I'd get that nicked up fletching so I could try!
On another note: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all shooters across the globe. May Santa have you on the "nice list" - and maybe drop a few of the coolest, toughest and most versatile wraps in the business in your stocking!

Showed those wraps to the local pro shop and several guys shooting there tonight. All were favorably impressed. The dealer will contact OZ to discuss terms. They all agreed that I needed some purple fletch to go with these. That job will have to wait. Have another dozen GT22's en route and those will get the purple.

Why part one? Because I'll put these wraps through their paces, guaranteed. Here's the story - I was target shooting with my shooting partner yesterday - from the garage out into the driveway. I was aiming at the lower left spot on the target which was about four inches above the snow covered gravel driveway. And yep - I flinched and the arrow went under the target. Pinched between the target, snow and gravel the arrow spit out the other side and disappeared into the yard. We didnt' see where it went. After searching about an hour we called it quits for the day. Today we returned to the search with my neighbor and his metal detectors. After about an hour we found it buried in the grass and mud. We pullled it out point first - after a short cleaning the wrap and fletchings were in perfect shape. This arrow has been through a whisker biscuit a couple hundred times, through gravel and snow and buried in the mud - and the wrap and fletchings look like new. That boys and girls is tough. Torture test part two is coming soon. Anybody wanna guess that outcome?

Hey Rich I've got an idea for a limb decal for my Shadowcat, are your decals made to cover the entire limb or can they be any size?
We can make decals to cover the entire limb. We can also make the type of decals that transfer on. It's the cut out kind that comes on a clear sticky sheet where you stick it on and peel off the clear layer leaving the decals.
We also have something better. I'll just copy and paste what I got from Rich:
It's a newer product that works the same, but it's prelaminated in a solvent proof clear that is as clean as glass, will not scratch, and your graphics will never wear, peel or crack.

Good news and bad news fellas. Good news is that we're busy busy busy, bad news is we're busy busy busy.
Rich is still tackling the backlog from Christmas break so unfortunately, our estimated delivery time for international orders (non-Australian addresses) are at ~ 7-21 days. :( Rest assured, Rich is busting tail to get caught up though. We apologize for the delay and appreciate the continued support, thanks guys.
So now for the good news :D
Our Ultimate X wraps has been improved! Up until now, the vinyl print layer was 0.9gpi and the overlaminate layer was 0.73gpi for a combined wrap weight of 1.63gpi. Whatever it is that Rich did, of which I haven't the slightly clue what it was, the layers are now each only 0.45gpi for a standard 1" wide wrap. That's a combined weight of 0.9gpi!! Lighter than the conventional 1 layer wraps with all the benefits of the OzCrest laminate wraps!! How wicked cool is that?!
More good news, the Crunch lineup is going to print and Rich is flying out with our partners to the factory this week. Crunch camo clothing line is almost here. :D
Some new designs will be released soon as well. Here's a preview of some prints I got from Rich this week. Had to take a few pics from various angles to somewhat capture the "Voodoo-ness" of the Voodoo wraps. Very tricky stuff trying to get the background light to work with the flash and avoid the glare from the plastic wrapping. Yes yes, I know I could've just taken the wraps out of the plastic wrapping but unfortunately, these wraps aren't for me . Notice the never before seen Flaming Skull wraps.

Sorry if someone has asked this but can you print metallics to match say the Black Platinum riser on my new Slayer? If so is it just a straight metallic or can a ghost image or possibly a light marbling of other colors be mixed in(say a primary black platinumb base marble with LSU purple and gold mixed in)? Thanks for your time!

Sounds like what you're thinking of is something along the lines of the Voodoo wraps but with a chrome base instead of holochrome. We can definitely match that black plat color and marbling of other colors is no problem. Colors that best show off the "metallic" gleen though are medium to lighter colors. The black will still look metallicky but a royal purple or yellow would tend to pop more since the dark colors will tend to absorb light more.

Sounds good, the royal purple and yellow would work just fine for LSU and the vanetec vanes I have. Is there any way to see what it would look like with those colors and possibly the Tiger logo where the skull is on the wraps displayed on this page or with just LSU written on them? Thanks for your help and if you could shoot me a PM with the price I would appreciate it.

Any chance I could get a sample picture of some red flame wraps over a white base? I've had other people make this design for me in the past but I'd like to see what kind of cool spin Ozcrest can put on them cause I need some more wraps to fletch another dozen AXIS shafts up. Also what length are your wraps? I'd like some 6" long if you make them and sized for the slim AXIS shafts.

These are the pacific dream (white tip) #3.
I really love the way these came out. I envisioned it kind of, but it's always a gamble. But the colors on these wraps really is as amazing as everyone states, and they apply like a breeze.
I have a crymson red riser, and this matched up perfectly. Coppertone helped me to pick a place and color for the name, and the lenght of the wrap etc. Customer service doesn't cover it as a word... It's like a friend is helping you out.

No worries, I keep every design I've ever made. In fact, I have a 500gb external drive just to store backups.
As far as pricing, it depends on which vinyl you'd like to print on. For our Ultimate X print, it's $15.95 shipping included. If you're looking to keep the white background white, the Ultimate X will work splendidly. Do you have the Hoyt Riptide Blue ? If so how much ? Thanks, Harley
We can generate patterns to match the Hoyt Riptide. My current wraps are actually a variation of the Hoyt Riptide.
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i201/CoppertoneSPF15/Arrows/Hoytstaffwrapsblue.jpg
Unfortunately, at the moment, we only have permission to print Hoyt trademarks/logos for OzCrest staff and Hoyt staff shooters. Hoyt has not given anyone unrestrainted permission to print their logos although you've probably seen some Hoyt logo prints floating around. We are in active talks with Hoyt and any developments will definitely be posted here.
But aside from the logos/trademarks, we can print patterns that match the Riptide. Here's a small, low res sample:

That would probably work. What are the sizes of the wraps? Cost ?
Thanks, Harley
The size is dependent on your arrows. Each order is customized. We size the wrap width to suit the arrows you're using. Wrap length is up to you. If it's unusually large, we might add an additional charge for the extra material but not for normal wrap lengths of 6-8"ish.
Cost is dependent on the vinyl type. Our Ultimate X prints are $15.95 with shipping, Elite Series $19.95 /w shipping, and the Voodoos are $24.95 /w shipping. Our new website has a description of the differences of each print type in addition to vinyl specs. For instance, the Ult X is 0.9mil combined thickness and 0.9 grains per inch combined thickness (for a 9/32" arrow). Other stats are published on the website as well (www.ozarchery.com).
And as always, all the print types are guaranteed not to fade, smudge, smear, is solvent proof and refletchable.

I am using the wraps for something a little different. I made two rear stabilizers out of carbon 300 arrows. I have six 9 inch arrows to wrap so that is the question for the size. Ideally they would be 9 inches long to cover a 300 size arrow. I have a front blue Doinker Quadraflex and a riptide blue bow so the will be different. I didn't want any logos or wording on them. They will sorta be an accent addition. Let me know on the size.
Thanks,

If you mean Carbon Express 300s, it's most likely the standard 9/32" dia shaft (equivalent to GT5575, Easton Epics, CX Maximas, etc...). Something like that would use something around a 1" wide wrap.
And yes, we can make a 9" long wrap, no problem.
Something to keep in mind is if you're using 9" shafts to make one of those multi-rod side bars, the exposed area of the shaft will be slightly less. And depending on the retaining blocks, you'll most likely want to keep the shaft ends bare on assembly. I know many of those multi-rod kits use screws to tighten down and are fitted close tolerance but I've also seen some that are press fit. Trying to force fit an 9" shaft wrapped tip to tip could potentially cause slightly wrinkling from the vinyl getting bunched up where the shaft enters the end pieces. We can still make the 9" long wraps, no problems there. You might want to do some trimming though prior to assembly.

CopperTone, I have some special arrows coming that have a unique camo pattern:wink: which I want to incorparate into the wrap. can we do something on clear vinyl so the camo shows thru. look at post 466 on page 12 and post 513 on page 13. I have the wraps that you see on #466, where you see blue bands, make them orange, leave the chrome trim, where you see white would be clear. The wrap on post 513 has a better band pattern for the fletched area... so want to use something like this rather than the swirl. Oh, I still want the dragon and the Ying/Yang in chrome (if possible).
What do ya think?
You and Rich are doing an awesome job with these wraps... everyone that sees them loves them. Kepp up the good work, an we will keep spreadin the news.

Richards computer is down due to some technical difficulties. He's in the process of rebuilding everything so it looks like all orders made so far this week will be delayed a week. Most likely we'll be up and running full steam by the end of the week but until then, nothing is being printed or shipped.
Bum deal about the delay guys, sorry. But, I can still take orders and work on custom design requests in the meantime so don't hesitate to contact me if you have an idea you'd like to see put to ink... or pixel rather. :)

Rich is battling it out with a narly case of the flu bug. With all the computer issues as of late, the stress probably didn't help things much either. Lets pray for a speedy recovery.
On another note... guess what's shipping out tomorrow zara

First - we're hoping for a quick recovery for Rich. He is 'da man' and we need him up and around doing his thing.
Second - Saweeeeet!!! Mr. Coppertone this is so cool!! I'll post pics when they arrive - that is unless you've already got some pics - Thanatos and Phoenix - these sticks should be HOT!

Could you show a sample of a wrap with green flames that match the color of green fobs, with a thin blue outline on the flames. under the flames and towards the back of the shaft have a diamond plate finish with a green, black, and blue crest on the back of the shaft just in front of where the fob will sit. Let me know what you can do. Thanks.

If you could post or pm me some measurements on the FOB lap up over the shaft, I can better position the crest... ie... how far up the shaft does the FOB fit as measured from the shaft end? Also, do you have a preferred wrap overall length? Arrow brand/model? On the flames, do you prefer a solid flame, solid flame /w real flame pattern, or realistic flame look? Let me know and I'll build it up for you.
