You can have your names, club etc and exclusive designs are available. These are a new product unlike any other wraps on the market. The prints cannot react with glue or scratch or rubb off. Great stuff mate. !! Stck with what you know and like.
My prototypes are still going strong even after being shot through dirt, sand, foam, and countless other mediums. "Half as good" would have to be the understatement of the year......... COmpletely differrent products mate. We won't print solvent ink to vinyl because the ink reacts with solvent based glues and weakens the bond to vanes. I have never lost a vane with my wraps. NOTHING can smudge, scratch or damage the print short of destroying the arrow. Yet they are very easy to remove and you can even remove the vanes and refletch without sacrificing the wrap. While testing we have even rubbed the finished wraps with turps, metho, alchohol.........etc, and nothing hurts these wraps.!!!!

Here is a pic of some STANDARD "Warp" series wraps. This is one of our newer patterns. The package consists of two sealed compartments containing 1doz ultrathin decals (prints), and 1doz ultraclear vinyl overwraps.
Our "Wet Looks" and "Ultimates" are packaged the same way.

You need to explain how fletching holds tighter on your material than on vinyl, yet arrows can be refletched without sacrificing the wrap. I'm not chemically adepth, but I've got a very high mechanical aptitude, and if the vanes are attached tighter on your wrap than they are on the ones I use, and I currently can't separate the vane from the wrap then it seems to me either the same is true for your wrap, or the wrap isn't as compatible with the adhesive, and fletching is not chemically bonded to your wrap at it is with vinyl. I'm not knocking your product. It looks great, but I'm seeing some inconsistancy in your claim about how adhesives work with them.

Colour'd vinyl is not pure. It has impurities to colour it, pigment. Clear vinyl is pure. The overwrap we use is 7yr guaranteed 3M film.....vinyl, so the bond is better than that to impure substrate. Our decal is thinner than the vinyl but keeps the vinyl stuck in one smooth surface that, because the clear vinyl is pure, is stronger and bonds tight. When solvent ink is placed on top of coloured or white vinyl, this reacts with, and in effect, dilutes the glue. The simple fact is that the glue sticks to the ink first. This degrades the integrity of the glue. Now, because the vinyl is stronger than the vane OR the glue, the glued fletch can be peeled away, with technique, and be removed WITHOUT breaking the vinyl over wrap. Here is a test we did earlier. the shaft (ST Axis 400) cracked a little..........the vane still didn't let go. Then I cleanly peel it away......see for yourself. http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b185/redlettersinger/?action=view¤t=fletchtest2.flv I use fletchtite platinum and AAE platifletch.
Now I never said we were better, nor did I try to compete. Which is why you don't see any of our designs looking similar, we instead have only claimed so far, to offer something new and differrent. I have also steered clear, until now, of the negatives of the competitions products, but, you did ask, and I have answerred. After all, this is a thread about OzCrest, so, I felt I had to entertain your "inconsistancy" claim. If this turns into a contest......................... You could knock my product all day, still won't hurt them

I'm not looking for a contest, or a competition, I'm just trying to shed some light on, and learn some things.

This is not a bashing post
Well after about 300 shots from one arrow and uncountable pass-troughs on most types of targets, I have had one of my OzCrest wraps tear.
this is the arrow in question.I have pulled at the tear a bit highlight it
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/chrisdaz/StuffedWrapcut.jpg
I am using 3 blazers and glue them on with loctite 406 (this stuff sticks like s&*t to a blanket). For those who know me, and not many on this site will, I am dam hard on my equipment.
I am shooting a 05 Bowtech Allegiance @ 77lb with gold tip 7595.
I have had the wraps since June this year and this is the first fletch that I have had to replace. The arrow in question also sat in the Australian sun for 10 days in 45degreesC (for you friends over the pond that is 115degreesF) stuck in a target butt and did not fade.
Got to love these wraps

So it seems that the "wet looks" don't quite cut it. Although 5-6 months and over 300 shots of Solar's punushment is a HUGE accomplishment, it is just not HUGE enough for OzCrest. Wet Looks are being discontinued as of now !!!! Ultimates' have taken there place as they are much stronger and can't delaminate like this no matter what the conditions or age.. Thanks for plugging AWU Ultramag and also being a loyal customer. OZ you have to understand something here. He was just trying to see how yours are so much different then mine. Vinyl is vinyl colored or clear. It dont make a bit of difference. the thing that does matter here is weight. What do your 7" x 1" weigh since you are putting 2 layers of vinyl in the shaft. That is the onli difference here. What it truly comes down to is customer service and customer loyalty. I have been on this site for 4 years now. I will be a sponsor again in 07. I reinvested a ton of $$ this year into expanding the company. This is my life and the only thing I do for a living. You could only wish to have a customer like Ultramag. After you are around for a while you will get to have loyal customers like we do. Just do the right thing and you will..

Thanks Adam. I call it like I see it. If I ruffle a few feathers.... ;)

Don't see why not but if you're going to be doing that on shafts which are borderline cases on the spine charts, you might be stiffening them quite a bit, especially if you're going the full 7 inches.

Good luck on wraps I have been waiting over a moth now and no wraps. Great product BAD Customer service.
You won yours as I donated them. I have on three occasions let you know how things were going and you obviously have not taken any of that into account, let alone, christmas time is slow for shipping. Postal service is not my customer service. As this was a donation worth $46 US + alterations, I did expect more thanks than this. I hope you enjoy the free product.
Now Adam, we do not use 2 layers of vinyl. The first is a decal that is much thinner and lighter than vinyl and the clear protects the pattern for the life of the arrow. The average standard weight is 1.5 gpi on a 9/32 shaft. Ultimates are 1.1 gpi on a 9/32 shaft. I have been using vinyl for over 15yrs as I have been in both the signwriting industry, and auto art. So I beg to differ on the subject of all vinyl being the same.

Thanks once again for the reply. I am just stating you need to do something different in Shipping to the US if you want a US based customer. That is all ,Yes you have been in contact with me but I still think even 2 weeks let alone 3 cuz of the Holidays here is not getting your product out to the consumer. "Remeber the Customer is always right" in business you will always have to remember that cuz without us littile ppl buying your product there would be NO OZCrest Custom Wrap Co. I hope I can recieve my wraps soon and I think next time I will just order from the stock at Kriscustomarchery in the states!

I donated a product and you complain about my service.??? UNGRATEFUL. Yes the customer is always right because they PAY for that right, and you have not. Which means you are not a customer. You are promo gone wrong. OzCrest does not benifit from donating to ungrateful, impatient individuals such as yourself. Everyone who use our wraps are not only happy with the product, they are happy with the service and shipping times.

Shipping goes both ways - at best airmail from the US takes 10-12 days to get here without customs interferance which they generally don't do for $1000 or less, over that and it can be in customs for up to an extra 3-4 days in normal times ie:excluding Xmas etc. Anything that has come surface from the US has taken an average of 10 weeks.
If you won a prize then the supplier is duty bound to get the product to you but has the right to ship as they see fit. To give you a better idea to courier this prize to you in the 3-5 days you were after would probably have cost in the vacinity of $20-$25 which seems a little excessive for arrow wraps.

Ok, before things go wrong, Elk4me, wait a while more and take a look at the date on the package when you receive it. I have had wraps from America take 1 month plus to arrive in Malaysia. Nobody's fault, because as I could see from the date of posting, the envelope was posted a day or two after conclusion of the deal. In my case, it was due to the package being detained by the Ministry of Internal Security (Malaysia) for God knows what reasons. I knew because the envelope had their stamp on it plus 'Lepaskan' which means 'Released' in Malay. And for what it's worth, I have TWO strings which are somewhere in this world (no idea where though). Posted middle of LAST year. And a package containing two patches and badges from a club in England was lost somewhere and arrived THREE months later. Again, the date stamped on the package proved the sender's sincerity and speed in processing. It's really NOBODY's fault unless you want to get a few buddies and stand outside the local postal services waving 'MORE RELIABLE POSTAL SERVICES!!!' signs.
As for 2005UltraMag, we are all bound by duty / friendship / sponsorship to help /plug our buddies (I'm bound by all three to OzCrest) but you don't see me plugging Richard's products shamelessly, do you? And for the record, I do use Arrow Wraps Unlimited's wraps too. I have 6 dozens of them (those were the ones which got detained :) ). Other than the difference in vinyl type, it's basically the designs available which wins customers (talking about the wraps themselves).
Adam has his, Richard has his. Period.

Progen, well said.:)
Elk4me, I can vouch that it takes 4-6 weeks to get my stuff from the US of A. These include replacement parts from Papes (America's largest archery and firearms distributor), Lancaster Archery and even from bow manufacturers. Well on account, I give it to the fact that International postage will take time. As for going by courier service, two things still have to be taken into account - distance and value. With distance, even sending by courier from Australia to America will still take around a week but cost 3 times the cost of regular secured post! As for value - Be it purchased or won, a business is still a business. I can appreciate the decision to send via secured post as opposed to courier - Why make a sale at a lost or at a margin that does not warrant the "trouble". I have seen OzCrest products and they are top quality and service within Australia is second to none.
Elk4me and 2005UltraMag, if you are in business and have to ship your archery products to Australia (bearing in mind the strict custom clearance we have here), you would probably appreciate the situation better.

Right on it! as we at Kris Kustom Archery contacted Elk4me immediately to assist in his customer service concerns. We are ourselves having become apprehensive with our stock inventory of OzCrest Custom wraps purchased in mid-November, and not receiving them to date. We received our first return response this week with their resolution plan to address our concerns to expect shipment in the next two weeks. We were however dismayed at the AT postings as our customer service values are on the provision of service is to customers before, during and after a purchase. Though the wraps were won and no cost to the Elk4me, there was still an opportunity to provide him with an excellent customer service experience by addressing his shipping complaint with understanding to his frustration without having him consider he has to pay to receive adequate customer service. It is important that the customer feel his needs can be met in a friendly and efficient manner. A pleasant consumer experience often results in a repeat venture to the same business establishment. Providing good customer service is important to a company because it keeps their loyal customers coming back and helps to build new customer-business relationships every day. On a larger scale, the customer can receive a quality product and great customer service while the establishment can continually improve their business. Good customer service should not be hard to come by. Companies who are concerned about utilizing valuable time and resources to provide customer service should realize the time and effort will be worth the rewards they will reap from earning loyal customers and new.
We have given and shipped to Elk4me two dozen of OzCrest Custom wraps of his choice at no cost. This is not as a replacement for his AT winnings, other than that we value our fellow archers, and we welcome their concerns; Good shooting!

Can't seem to find the thread with OzFX and Moose ridge  with all the examples in it. Someone is playing silly buggers. I still can't believe they would contact us, bag out AWU horribly, order designs, force upgrades, make us match their patterns, with a whole lot of false promises, ask for EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTORSHIP, all to get told 1 doz maybe once in a while. Not enough to even be a part time dealer. What a waist of time that was. Almost as bad as KKA trying to rip us. No more small timers that's for sure. We only tried to give other smaller companies a helping hand, but what is the point.? We will stick to the big dealers and that's that. IF you don't own a shopfront, don't even ask for a dealership. !
Oh well, I will post it all in here eventually instead. Probably delete this too. Just goes to show how childish and cut-throat this industry is becoming.

GOLDEN MESSIAH utilizes OzCrest's new "patented" decals with a layer of metallic foil. Easy to apply, just 2 simple layers. All process's used to manufacture these new products are patented to OzCrest Custom Wraps, so you won't see this stuff anywhere else. Total thickness of 0.003" and mass weight of 1.6gpi. Never fade, peel, crack , scratch or wear........Worth the little extra for a look like the Golden Messiah I reckon........:darkbeer:
Metallics also available as Custom jobs, so any colour scheme, any colour overtones, glows, fades, whatever you like. :)

We also print SOME logos. There are a few that we don't have right to print but there are also many that we do. Our new jr designer has just finished a heap of works which will be uploaded to the www.ozcrest.com within the week. I will post some samples here tomorrow.
Don't forget that we can alter any design or come up with something totally new for you, and our X-series custom work remains exclusive to you, the customer.

Saved 1/2 doz Fatboys for that "Oh Yeah Gotta Have That" pattern. Like the Messiah with some foil (SWEET!!!). So keep the awsome patterns rollin, your new artist has some pretty cool designs too, a perfect addition. Britt loves the Angel print... looks good with hot pink micro mini blazers (fletched up one last night). My goldtips will be sportin the camo:blob1: along with some camo blazers... oughta look good flying outa the new alley.
