I finally got a shot with my new Tribute. A doe came in at 7 yards, and looked straight up at me. She stomped a few times, and turned to walk away. Her head went behind a tree, I drew, and when she came out, I layed the smack down with a Rocky Mountain Gator. She only went 25 yards before dropping. She was only about 90 lbs, but I couldn't resist...I will post a pic as soon as my buddy emails them to me...
Unfortunately, I didn't get pics of the entry/exit wounds, but they were inpressive. They were basically a 2" slit in one side and out the other...The deer was quartering away, and the Gator cut through two ribs on the entry side, and broke through a rib on the exit. I hit her a little far back but it didn't matter this time.
