I a going to Texas to hunt Hogs & Rams. This will be my first traditional hunt. Should I use a 2-bladed traditional head, some bone crushing
Thunderhead 160gr or Muzzy 145gr I still have? Your expertise is greatly appreciated.

two blade bone crusher? well, the zwickey delta might work. i like the eskimos, but if you are looking for weight, that might do it. heard of several people using deltas on hogs in texas and tennesee

I've shot six hogs in Texas so far this year using the Muzzy Phantom, a great flying, hard hitting head. I'm also impressed with the Magnus Stingers, like the way they fly, and how sharp they are.
What bow poundage are you using, what arrow? You've gotta pick a broadhead that flys straight from your bow. If you're using a low poundage bow, choose a two bladed head to assist in penetration, and if your shooting carbons, look at the Magnus Stingers. But for me, my number one head is the Phantom. I've broke shoulders on elk this year with the head, and it hasn't let me down yet.
Good luck in Texas, and have fun.

Shoot the Magnus Stinger. It's a tough, bad little dude. Won't fold up when you hit bone, flys like a dream, and like I said, scary sharp.

STOS on a steel adaptor. I use 160s on a 125 adaptor myself.
