Looking for a few examples of some arrows and what i should be shooting.
I have an old bear recurve that was given to me by my father before he passed. It is a 55 lb draw and i have thrown a few arrows through it for fun. Obviously they did not do to well cause they were for my trykon. I am not looking for the best just avg so i can start to hone my skills with it. would love to stick something with it one day. Any help I would greatly appreciate it.

I shoot some nice cedar shafts out of the old stick bow. Some time I use some carbons i have laying around when the cedars get low.

Get some Gold tip XT 5575's cut them to your correct draw length, don't add wheight, don't wheigh them, don't bare shaft em' don't paper tune em' just fletch with feathers an shoot the things.
I use them in both my recurves and my longbow, they fly like darts.
Just don't over think the things an don't listen to the BS spread by those that fancy themselves as experts.
Their a good solid arrow that will fly from any bow between 45-80lb as long as you let them.

without knowing your drawlenght its tough to suggest , but I would venture that if your in the 27- 29" range a 2016 alum would be fine, not sure on the carbons.

I agree, with a normal draw a 2016 should work well.
