I know this is the Ville, but I still have an archery/hunting related question I'm looking for advice on. I'm not big on the tone/timbre of advice solicited in the GenPop...anyway, I just bought a new pair of Pentax 8x32 DCF HRII binos, (I'm waiting to get them) and I'm looking for a harness sytem that is comfortable/flexible, and keeps them out of shooting way. Primarily for 3D, but also for hunting. I've never used a harness, always just the 'neck buster' strap, but I've seen so many different setups and brands, and price ranges...any personal favorites, any 'don't ever buy this', would be appreciated. Thanks archers. Twisted

I can't remember what they are called (wish I could) but basically its a pair of straps that go over your shoulders and cross in the back and on the front there is another strap that the binoculars are on... they are awesome! Truly the best way to hang binos out there.

I've even watched guys shoot with their binos on their chest! Its the only way to carry binos!

Thanks for the input Dred, I've seen so many different brands and pricetags for rigs like that, I guess I'm not sure if they are really all the same quality or not. I'll just have to try on as many pairs as I can get my hands on and make a choice....cheers.

I've been using this one Link (www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=search-cat601627&id=0027665712046a&navCount=1&podId=0027665&parentId=cat601627&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=QT&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601627&hasJS=true) also from Cabelas. It's fairly comfortable, and cooler on those hot summer days.

I use the Crooked Horn outfit as well, I think the Walmart ones are probably just licensed and branded from Crooked Horn. Best way to carry bino's for archery!!!!!!
