Wondering if it is worth putting adhesive limbsavers on the limbs of my Martin Aurora to reduce vibration. If so, where's the best location for them.

I use Thunderblox limbsavers on my recurves, and yes, they (combined with a relatively high brace height) do tend to quiet the bow down a lot. I usually put them a few inches down from the string grooves, although I put them halfway down the limb on one of my old Howatts

Works for some people, on some bows, YMMV.

The only bow I tried them on, a take down recurve, I can't say whether it helped or not. I put them right at the fade outs, as many recommended.

For stickbows, the Limbsaver product I like are the string leeches. I put them right at the end of the flemish twist and it seems to make quite a difference without affecting performance.

Go to cssarchery.com they make a product called turnz it is a limb dampner and also have string silencers. They are adjustable and very easy to move around for best placement on bow.:thumbs_up
They work on all bows and are very very reasonable price wise. You can buy direct or through some mail order sites, they will let you know.
