I have a Damon Howatt HI Speed 45lbs 52 at my draw im currently shooting light arrow because thats all ive got around 356grs. Id like to stay with carbon I was thinking of something around 400-450grs? Im shooting 100gr Magnus Nugeblades what would be a good arrow and arrow weight for my bow?

CE Terminator 45-60 is heavier than most carbons and I'd wager should tune for you in that bow.

Past experience tells me that you should try using a 500 series beaman or easton carbon. If you want more speed use an easton Lightspeed but you will sacrafice weight for hunting. Good Luck!

If you want to go with carbon and keep it a little heavier without adding a boat anchor to the tip of your arrow like a lot of guys do, try an arrow made by Carbon Express called the Thunderstorm SE. The down side is, all the longer you can get them is 29". If that's long enough for you, give them a try. They seem to work well in everything from 40-50#s and it's pretty easy to get a 400grain arrow with it. They're $50/dozen thereabouts so you can lose them in the bushes at 3D shoots when you try the "long bomb" shots without breaking the bank.
"I'll bet you can't hit that from here!" :D
