Nice fish semo, where'd you pull that one out of? I've been at Mark Twain for the past 4 days, crappie started turning on the past couple days but didn't catch many bass.

I have a lot at a private community called Lake Timberline, just north of Bonne Terre. Friday afternoon my son and I caught 34 bass of various sizes, nothing big but still fun. I decided to go back Sat and on the 4th cast hooked this Hog. It's my biggest ever. 24" long, 17.5" in girth and was a little over 8 pounds. I caught 15 others after this one but nothing big. I am happy as heck with this fish, my biggest before this was only 3.5 pounds. Makes my miss on my turkey opening day easier to swallow.

Here is another pic with my son in it. He's 5 and the fish is almost as big as him! Sorry about the blurry image.

nice fish!! i used to have a pond i fished at that held alot or 5-10lb. bass in it, but sadly they drained it into a smaller pond and the little creek. most of the big one have died because the creek dries up every year.

Yup, I was about to let her go when my buddies told me I was nuts and covinced me to get her mounted. First fish I have ever kept for this purpose, I guess keeping one isn't too bad.

Took her to the taxedermist last night. I'll have it back in 3-4 months.

Ozark Mtn on C hiway in Cherokee Pass. It's a bit of a drive from me but I heard nothing but good things about him. He took best of show at the MTA show last year. Next time your in the Fredricktown area you should check him out. His "showroom" is awsome.

nice fish man, I caught one last summer and had it mounted. It was 23 inches long and weighed 8lbs 6 ounces. It was a fat ole girl. Bad thing is she had already layed her eggs. I would've liked to have caught her while she still had those babies in her.

I've talked to him a couple times when I've looked into getting something done, but I go with LJ's Taxidermy off Hwy K in Fredericktown. Her prices are quite a bit lower and IMO the quality was better also.

Hope it turns out great, that's going to look great on the wall.
