ONE OF THOSE GREAT FISHING DAYS?!? :set1_fishing: :clap2: :fish:

I just had a great day myself. Well, myself and a bud actually. We got done with some stuff at work early and we grabbed my pond jumper and headed to a local lake. It just "felt right" and we both felt it. Last night we had a thunderstorm and today was bright and sunny. Plus the moon was overhead during midday 'til mid-afternoon. So we went!!! And, boy, it was a great day on a beautiful natural lake! :fish2:

We started hitting them right off. He hooked a 4# largemouth on his first cast with a Mepps Aglia (#4 willow leaf) with a bucktail. I hooked a 20-22" chain pickerel with an identical spinner on my first cast as well!! Then we proceeded to boat several more bass and pickerel. The largest pickerel was about 25" long and weighed around 5 pounds. The largest bass was 23" long and weighed (approximately and conservatively) 6.5-7 pounds. Now I know that may not seem too big to you southern boys, but that is a lunker around these parts. We ended up with 12 bass between us and around 20-25 pickerel! All on large inline bucktail spinners and spoons.

I have some pics and some video I took with my digital camera. So I will post up some pics when I can (don't have the USB cable here or I would now!!).

Don't you just love days like that, though??:thumbs_up

Here are a couple of yesterday's fish. Forgive the one vid clip....my bud is technologically challenged. All he could get was the floor of the boat for some reason....:confused3:
