That's a great fish!! Where you at in Missouri???

I went fishing at Thomas Hill last week and caught 9 and all but 2 were keepers. The biggest went 4.5 and 6.25. The big un's are biting..

NICE BASS!!!

Fun to catch those shovel mouths isnt it?

I got this one the day before yesterday. Caught him on the Dean Rojas SPRO frog. Picture doesnt even do him any justice, he was so thick with a huge excavator mouth.:)

Nothing like the feel of a big bucket mouth tugging on your line.

Of course going after a wolf packs of 2-4 lb bronze backs can get the blood pumping as well.:)

Amen! Smallies are unreal. Bassmaster Elite 100 was in town for their Empire Challenge, and the Lake didn't disappoint. Tossed them pros around something fierce Thursday, they got blown off the lake Friday, then had great conditions saturday and sunday.

With a day less to fish, Edwin Evers really earned his win, bringing 15 fish, over 65lb of smallmouth bass to the scales. He won going away. His 23lb 10 oz bag on the final day sealed the deal. Imaging a limit of fish averaging 4 1/2 lb each? Awesome.

Heck, I thought coming in with 16lbs was good, but 23-10....wow! here is a nice pond bass.

Nice hawg.... All of 'em. I hope I get my Nitro back in commission by the weekend. I need a day of picthing for largemouth and casting for musky.

Of course, the walleye still have me firmly, and now we're less than 2 weeks to to Northern Chautauqua Cconservation Club Walleye Tournament.

Sweet bass, guys... Keep 'em coming...

Oh, on an aside, I guess some guy caught a giant bucketmouth in early June. Would have been the new State Record had it been caught a couple weeks later. Since the season wasn't open on bass yet (when caught it was artificial only, C&R) they didn't count it for the books. However, it was legally caught on artificial lure, then the DEC weighed it and measured it and ler her go.

14lb 11oz. And from an unlikely lake, too, which I am not saying....
