I am shooting a UltraElite. 28" draw currently at 55 lbs. for indoor. For IBO I'll turn it up to 60 lbs or slightly over what whatever it bottoms out at.

First question is that it feels just a bit too long, may .25 inch or so. Am I able to change this without having to get new modules. If so how? What do I need to twist, and how will this affect the weight range, speeds, etc?

Second question is that on the shot it seems like the top is coming back a bit and the bottom of the rest is hitting the top of my hand, kind of at the first joint of my thumb. I am shooting a 28" doinker with 2 dawg weights and 1 8" side rod on the left side to balance from the sight. If I put more weight up front, it feels like it is too much and is pulling the stablizer down too much.

How can I change this? Is this part of what needs tuned with a tiller adjustment? If so how?

Thanks for the help.

To shorten your draw you need to twist the string up and or remove twist from your cable. It will change your speed slightly (you went down in draw length) and you may loose a lb of weight on the top end....but I would rather have my draw correct.

As for your bow tipping backwards. You need to play around with the weight position on your rods. Sounds to me like your back weights are to heavy.

Great. Thanks for the response. Any idea how many twists would be best? I am thinking to untwist the cable a bit first... does that make sense? Again, only looking for about a 1/4 inch or so.

For the weight, I agree that is what I had thought. I don't have any additional weight on the back side besides the 1 side rod. Does tiller affect this at all as well?

A 1/4" is a lot more then you think.....

I don't think tiller is going to change the roll of your bow....take the rods off or change the angle if you can. Do you have the heavy Doinker with the suppression thing on it? You need to get the weight away from the bow. Also you could look at changing the actuall vbar mount to change the roll.

On my old Hoyts I used to just use a front rod and one side rod. But I would mount it to the riser. I like putting weight were I want it and where I need it instead of where the vbar maker thinks I want it. All of my bows roll forward.

Contact Javi on this. He would be able to help you more with the twisting. The jump may be caused by the timing of the bow. In general, as Brown Hornet said if you untwist the cable and twist up the string. you will shorten draw. But, a quarter is a lot and you will have to make sure the cams stays in time and there lies the trick.
