Hi all just got my first bowtech comander, i have switched from recuve so all these extra strings and wheels have me a wee bit confused..
specs say BH should be 71/2 inches mine is 7 6/8. can i just untwist the string like a recurve or will this affect the cams???
also what does twisting or untwisting the cable strings do?
oh yeah and how and were do you measure tiller from on the commander bow? and what should it be?
when i got the bow 2 days ago it was out of the box and shooting great. i marked the cam positon but now its moved, can i just twist the cables strings to get thm back to there mark?
I really need help on what the strings do and how to use them.
love the bow but the manual is useless.
please please help.

first thing is to check weight get it correct by adding 1 twist to both cables .
then you want to check the timing on the cams theirs stops that touch the cables at full draw. they should hit the cables top & bottom at the same time . no tiller just get the cams in time. my ATA is shorter then specs my B/H is like yours . poundage and cam timing is the way to set these bows up.
