Hi everyone, Just wondering if the bowmaster bow press is worth the money and would work on a mathews switchback xt and also a mathews ignition? Thanks in advance for your comments.

I have one and it works great on my Drenalin. Not sure about the ignition though.

I just bought one the other day and I love it. I shoot a xt also, and I used it today to twist my cables up and fix my ata.:rock-on:

Used mine on the Switchback I had, only had 2 problems, both minor.one was the steel cable would pull tight against my Ripcord rest(simple fix, moved the rest forward a hair)the other, really need a wrench to turn that bolt while using it on the Switchback !! But Yes, it worked just fine .

Money well spent. The only issue I had with mine was that the bolt you turn to operate it was wearing on my string's serving. (I was doing a lot of tuning) I remedied that by simply putting a small peice of cardboard between the bolt and the string when I'm turning the bolt.

Used it to install a peep in my XT a couple of weeks ago and have used it numerous times on my former bow (Legacy).

Works flawlessly for occasional use. If you're going to tinker alot, spend $170 or so on a Hydra-Press or something similar. :thumbs_up
