I recently put on a new rest A ripcord drop away. I went out back and was shooting it getting the hrozontal and vertical set and it was shooting great. That night I took my bow to the basement since it was dark and bareshaft tuned it at about 8-10 yards and got it shooting perfect bullet holes.

It seemed kind of loud so I went through and started checking screws to see if they were loose. Sure enough I had 2 loose screws on the cam so I tightened them up. I also ordered some FOBS and I finally got those in the mail. I go out this afternoon to try them out and my arrows are impacting very low. I thought maybe it was something to do with the FOBS so I tried a fletched arrow that the day before was hitting right where I was aiming. This arrow impacted exactly where the FOB arrows were. Now I cant figure out why my arrows are suddenly hitting so very low. The sight I am using is a Pro Hunter Micro sight which is a sliding single pin. At 20 yards I have to slide the pin up to the 40 yard mark to make it hit where I aim at 20 yards. Just the day before when I used the 20 yard setting at 20 yards it was hitting just fine. I am at a loss ont this one. Any ideas?

Any thoughts at all?

By any chance did you notice your elevation mark on your sights when it was shooting good?? The reason I ask is mabe with the added vibration from the lose screws your sight slipped. Or mabe your rest slipped some.

What sight? He said he was instinct shooting. My guess, would be the rest is not coming up all the way. Perhaps, the FOBs contacted it or the cord stretched or the rest is loose.

The FOBs work well if you can get complete clearance on your drop-away and this may take some experimentation.

Cock the rest and pull the bow back if the laucher drops reajust the football so when you pull back it's at the same height as when cocked

Hey, you gotta realize that Deezlin is old and so are his eyes.

Let's see. What comes to my mind? Nocking point move or center serving?

Peep sight moved down?

How about what RNT said about the rest. Maybe the rest moved. Let's see, is the Ripcord the one that locks in the up position and is released by the cord?

Did you tighten up those module screws before you sighted the bow? Sounds like you did that after your outdoor activity. That might mean a completely new tune and resighting is necessary.

thanks for the replies, ill check that stuff out. the rest is locked down solid so i dont think it moved any. It has to be tightening those screws did something. It doesnt seem to be shooting any slower if fact it seems a tad bit faster since switching from the WB. I thought that i over tightened those screws and made the cam not turn fast enough but it seems to shoot the same just lower. i guess i will just resight it in but man that is just so weird that it would do that.

Check your nocking point. My bow was shooting great last week, and when I shot yesterday, my arrows were hitting low consistantly. I checked my nocking point and it was off by about 3/16". After moving my loop down to where everything was level, I'm back in business.
