Hey all there out in archerytalk land! I am posting this as a shameless promotion for an audio podcast that myself and my partner Anthony Dixon from Full Moon Productions host weekly.

The podcast is a weekly internet radio show that is dedicated to archery and archery hunting. Tips, tricks, techniques, equipment reviews, and interviews with industry experts are what you'll find.

If any of you have any feedback on the show, we'd love to hear from you. You can find the podcast on iTunes, or just check out the link below:

www.bowcast.com (http://www.bowcast.com)

Hope to hear from all of you soon!

Thanks for putting the time into the show Aneal.

Dan,
Thanks for listening, and thanks for spreading the BowCast message in this forum!

Good point about the guests. We have some very exciting interviews coming up to line up with some of the major deer seasons across the country. Stay tuned!

Come on, I can't be the only one out there enjoying this podcast...

If you haven't heard this, it is great entertainment.....

With as many archery addicts as there are here, more are listening, but not checking into this, or there are lots missing out....

Good show boys.

Thank you for doing this and posting about it here. I just downloaded all the episodes and will be looking forward to them every week from now on. This will help with missing the hunting season and archery in general while I am in Iraq.

Lots of fun, even a brief video on form, I am 1 episode behind, spending more time in the woods, less time dreaming about it.

Keep it going Aneal and Anthony!

Well I downloaded about 5 episodes of the pod cast and I have to make some comments, constructive criticism if you may. I really like the idea of a pod cast geared toward hunters but......I think that BowCast is a poor attempt at it. The discussions are not structured very well and jump around a lot. Often when questions are asked, they are not answered right away but the speaker goes off on tangents confusing the listeners. Also, many of the comments by Anthony and Aneal are not based on sound evidence or fact, but rather their opinion. If I were new to bow hunting, I might now know any better but I am not and it frustrated me very much to listen to it. Like I said this is a very confusing  program to listen to, but the problems are fixable and the program formate should continue.

PS the only episodes that I could bring myself to listen to was the one on broadheads and final prep before hunting. :BangHead:

I guess to each there own... I really like the format and the way they cover things... FINALLY a group of guys that really hunt. I would rather listen to these guys than watch anybody else on TV. It might be because as a western hunter I can relate.

I am sure your constructive criticism will be welcomed but they are doing something that has never been done before and they are working out the kinks.... I give them a :RockOn::RockOn: for having the guts to put it out there...

Jason

ps... scott when is your podcast coming out?

Who else do you have to compare them to...No One.

Yes it does take guts to start your own talk show, but you also have to know your limits and realize that just because you came up with the idea doesn't mean that you are qualified to be the host.

Also Jamaro,
Just because I don't have the time to put on a pod cast, doesn't mean that I am less knowledgeable about the subject.

Actually, there are quite a few.... HuntCast, ONeil Outside, Those guys from Gander Mountain, Bowhunting Radio, all those people on myoutdoorstv.com

Again this is archers helping archers.... but rather than emailing them on the side you wanted to beat your chest..... and tear someone down...

You can have all the knowledge in the world but while you are picking there cast apart they ARE LAYING DOWN TRACKS... and good for them..

I agree they are not 100% accurate with info, but I like the laid back format, and listening to two guys who love to hunt, and are working to pass their knowledge and passion on to others. It's all good.....
