Has anyone got one, and how do you like it ? Are the handles plastic like the piece of crap Gerber. I'm looking for a good small pruner. The vista pruner is expensive, but I need more info on how tough it is.

The toughest and best i have found are made by Treehopper. They even send a replacement blade with them, which i have yet to need after two years.

I got one and i have been very happy with it so far. I haven't had it that long but it is very sharp and seems like it will hold up pretty good. It has a lifetime warranty as well.

I think the Leatherman/Gerber ones are a bit overpriced ...

I bought a nice hand pruner at WalMart for like $9 and it works awesome! I know it doesn't have all the gizmos of a Leatherman pruner, but saving $50+ is worth it ... plus, that's why I already have a Leatherman and a Swiss Army knife.

they are really sweet. I didn't mind the gerber, but the vista was a great purchase!
