Earnhardt Jr dropped Bud and is now carrying National Guard, Amp energy drink and Mountain Dew. He's has bud for eight years.
I'm anxious to see next years car and team.
Junior.

I thought he just signed with Pepsi as the main sponsor for the #88 Chevy :noidea:

"NASCAR's most popular driver will be in the No. 88 Chevrolet when he moves to Hendrick Motorsports next season, the team announced Wednesday. Earnhardt's car will be sponsored by Pepsi, with the company's Mountain Dew soft drink and Amp Energy drink featured on the car. The National Guard will also be involved in the sponsorship."
I guess that answers the question
I hope he has good luck wherever he is even though seeing him in a car other than the #8 Budweiser will be weird.

I already drink Mt Dew and Bud, so no big deal. ( OK, diet dew and Bud Light, but you get the picture) As long as he stays in a Chevrolet, I will pull for him. Smoke will be off my list when he climbs into a Camry next year.

Camry - that brings up another question - Who is for or against it, and why?
For the life of me, I hate to see Junior leaving DEI - don't blame him, though. I just wish it was the other way around. Him staying and someone, eh-hum, someone else leaving.

just the fact that he is taking Tony Jr with him the car does not matter the sponser does not matter nothing matters he might as well have a go cart
that is about as fast as Tony Jr knows how to do a set up 7 years racing 17 wins 3.5 years with Tony Jr 4 wins the numbers don't lie Tony Jr. su**s

Good point. Maybe mixing family and business isn't such a good idea after all.

Jr made the right move by going to Hendrick. They have the resources that Junior needs in order to be a winner. Just look at Johnson and Gordon, not that I am a fan of either of them, but they are winners. Junior never had a chance to be a winner with DEI.

Am I the only one who was hoping and wishing he went to Childress to drive the #3???? How f$%*ing awesome would have that been? I hate Jeff Gordon almost as much as anti-hunters, but at least now Jr has a chance of a title. What to do with all my BUD/#8 stuff?

First of all Jr himself said he would never race the #3 car because he is no where near the driver his dad was and he would not want to disgrace dads number. And about you hating Gordon just remember one thing about Gordon and the majority of the rest of the NASCAR drivers Dale Sr made most of them how they are today.Jeff Gordon was one of the drivers that comes to mind for making that statment after Dale Sr died.

The thing that makes me hate Gordon is anytime he gets bumped, hit, nudge or other wise "pushed" out of the way he cries foul. Yet he does the exact same thing and thinks it's "part of racin'". I remember a few years back he was spun around and *****ed and complained about it. Then a few weeks later he couldn't get by Rusty Wallace (who was my favorite) at Bristol like a man so he spun and wrecked Wallace to take the victory and acting like it was no big deal. He is the biggest cry baby sore loser. Tony Stewart is next. I think JR. should drive the number 3. NASCAR said a while back they will not retire any numbers, so eventually someone will use that number. So why not keep it in the family. I don't think Dale would mind seeing his son run his number.

Hey Reel I do agree but 24 and his whining and I really agree about Tony Stewart his is nothing more than a loud mouth cry baby but at the same time I also think he Tony Stewart is the most all around talented driver out there today he can drive and win in anything he straps into

Any thoughts on how much Theresa paid Mark Martin not to retire and drive the #8 next season? I am an avid Martin fan but I could not believe that when I read it in nascar news.

mark down deep probably beleives as i do...
DEI was built by Dale and his wife, not dale jr.
Dale Sr. has FOUR KIDS not just ONE.
Dale jr. wanting 51 percent was wrong..
She should have came out in press and said that company was going to be 25 25 25 25 for each of the four kids, and DALE jr. gets a BIG contract to drive.
This in My Honest Opin, is why you don't hear RCR, and the rest of the ole timer's bashing her., the truth is he Jr. is being Selfish.
I pray that a Earnheart will be back there, as i hear a grandson is now in the training.
kinda reminds me of he prodical son story.
makes ya think if you can get by the love story of loving dale jr.

IMHO, the color fit him (metro type) better , especially when their CEO endorsed Kerry (metro man hero), and use LEFTist Gorge Clooney to do all their commercials.
I sent Bud out the Door over the Kerry thing, Coors only for me now., maybe NASCAR see's this also with Coor's becoming the official beer of NASCAR.
