By popular demand Karl @ Pacific Bow Butts has developed a portable competition target system. I received this one a few weeks ago to test drive.
I have to say that I am impressed. Arrows are easily pulled, its huge and portable.
The system consists of three Pacific Bow Butts and a really cool cart! The butts weigh about 70 lbs but Karl will probably have that down to about 60 once he makes a a press system specifictly for this size butt. Each butt measures 48 wide by 17 high and 13 inches deep, making the finished face 4 feet wide by 4 foot 3 tall. This thing will easily hold a 122 cm target face. Also as anyone that is familiar with Pacific bow butts knows they stop arrows and last forever!
The best part is the cart. This thing folds up nicely for storage and easily rolls around almost any level terrain. they are not sure if they will produce and sell the cart or just provide plans for the do it yourselfers
