jardin is gonna try to bang with him(mistake)

against rampage chuck had to cut 14 pounds in 2 days ...hence the prego look.he had so much water weight and was just over trained... still doesnt admit it but everyone knows about the weight problem. IMO lights out for jardin.... counter punchin over the top left hook:wink:

I am not getting tonights fight. A buddy just called and said he was going to get it, but I doubt I go watch. This fight card looks pretty weak. I hope Chuck isn't done, but if he loses to Jardine it will be a long tough road to get back on top. I would like to see Fitch kick Diego Sanchez's pretty boy arse! Shogun and Forrest could be an interesting fight!

Hmmmmm.......I doubt it. My money would be on Liddell, I think Rampage has been the only one to get the best of him. He's far from done. I would be REAL surprised if Jardin even comes close. I'm predicting lights out in the 2nd round

I picked Chuck to win, but if Jardine pulls off an upset it would be of no surprise. Hes got great leg kicks wich could make for a long night for chuck. I think this fight could potentially be a snooze-fest with both of them comming off ko losses.... find out in about 2 hrs i guess. :darkbeer:

Jardine is definitely noted for his kicks, but I don't think he stands a chance against Chuck. I honestly think this fight was meant to be easy to get Chuck back in a position for another fight with Rampage because it will make for more $$$

I dont like Liddell.....but, putting Jardine in the same octagon with Liddell is an insult to Liddell....Keith Jardine is at best a middle of the road fighter....Chuck has very very few real opponents in the octagon these days....I'd LOVE to see a Dan Henderson/Chuck Liddell match...As for Fitch and Sanchez...I think that Fitch has what it takes to beat down Sanchez for sure, if it goes that way...it's decent fight, though...I personally think that Sanchez has had an easy career in the U.F.C. for the most part..Forrest Griffin is the most over-rated fighter in the U.F.C., and even though I like His attitude, and grit, I dont think that He has good odds against Rua..Forrest's grit and heart have carried Him through alot of His fights..I respect Him for that, but I cant see Him being a World Champion....The U.F.C. has changed, and is starting to smell fishy to Me...It seems to be moving toward the Pro "Wrestling" style of promotion, and I dont like it, or think that it's needed...I have watched U.F.C. since 1995, I worked with a fella that fought as an alternate in in Japan, at U.F.C. number 2, or 3....That was some mixed Martial Arts back then....Harperman

I can't wait to see Hughes shut Serra up!! :darkbeer:

Hughes is a good fighter but likes to disrespect others then act like he ment no harm. It will be a good fight but Matt Serra has a very good chance to win. Matt Hughes was getting murdered by B.J. Penn in their last match and B.J. took it on short notice. B.J. was out of shape but made Hughes look bad.

Round 1
Jardine gets the bout started with a leg kick and a right hand. Jardine has found his range early as he connects with two more right hands. Liddell then stood in the pocket and blasted Jardine with a right hand. Jardine, now bleeding, goes back to the legs and followed with a body kick. Liddell rushed forward and landed with a right. Jardine, looking tired already, retreated as Liddell landed again. Close round, 10-9 for Liddell for the right hands that connected solidly.

Round 2
About 45 seconds into the second, Jardine dropped Liddell with a crushing right hand. Liddell quickly got to his feet but got cracked with a hard body kick. Another right hand smacked Chuck in the mouth. Jardine found a rhythm as he jabbed and kicked at Liddell's legs. Liddell rallied and rushed forward with a hard shot that hurt Jardine. Liddell finished strong but it was not enough to take the round. 10-9 for Jardine.

Jardine won the fight. He in my opinion won the second round 10-8. He then came out and won the third round. Chuck looks finished too me. He just didn't look good at all tonight. He took leg kick after leg kick. It became really predictable, and Chuck still had no answer. It sucks I was a huge Liddell fan but I have to believe with all the new talent coming into the Ufc that Chuck is finished. Oh well go Hughes.

I figured Jardine would use them kicks all night. He knocked chuck down with a shot to. Was actually a edge of the seat fight, waiting for either to get ko'd the way they were thrown em. I though Jardine won every round 10-9. 30-27. Chuck just relies on his right hand and only his right hand, yet he used to be a kick boxer. You would swear in this fight Jardine was the kickboxer.

They need to re-vamp the scoring system from the ten point must and also find some judges that are not legally blind (the Bisping decision was sick). I thought Cecil would call it better, makes you wonder how much the UFC brass is involved.

....This is what I was refering to in My post earlier...the Bisping fight was a scam, and blatantly biased..And I am a Fan of Michael Bisping, so I'm not hacking on Him..I say do away with "Split Decisions", and Rounds...Make it a 15 minute time limit for non-title fights, and 25 minutes for title fights...How many times have Y'all watched a fight that was just about won by a fighter, then the buzzer sounds, and the fighter that was about to get beat by a submission attempt, or that WAS taking a pounding, come back to win the fight??...I think that now there is so much $$$$ involved in MMA, that rigged fights , setting up the "Golden Boys" with sub-class oponents, etc..etc.. will be the way it goes with MMA,( at least in the UFC) in the future...Now that the UFC has bought/merged with PRIDE, it will go the way of Pro boxing, and fake "Big Time" wrestling....Look into the $$$ amounts that are made from these fights...Money corrupts , and Dana White at the very least shows favouritism(sp?) and personal likes/dislikes in scheduling Who fights Who...And middle of the octagon head-bangers sell tickets....Still one of the few things left on T.V. thats worth watching, to Me , anyway...Take Care...Harperman

Nah, Liddell has fought this way for a long time now. He relys soley on his right hand, and is used to fighting the same *grapplers over and over.
