I read the results from last night's PPV event. Did anyone watch it and if so did the judges get it right on the Liddel-Jardine and Fitch-Sanchez fight?

UFC 75 had Bisping beating Hammil-judges must have been seated to far away. This was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen.

I watched it.

Yes, all of the score cards were right on the money. Sanchez and Liddell did not fight well and were justifiably beat.

You should have seen Griffin.......

I thought the judges got all the decisions correct when it went to the cards. I also think that Jardiene and Griffin will fight. The camera showed V. Silva after they announced Keith the winner over Chuck. His expression seemed to say he thought the judges got it wrong. Keith was landing kicks to the point of making Chucks rib cage bleed and tap dancing on his face and at one point buckeling chuck to the mat. One thing is for sure if Forrest and Keith fight there will be lots of blood. These guys bleed like stuck pigs when they are in the Octagon. Tyson Griffin was impressive and Fitch was just a blanket on Sanchez who really couldn't get anything going.

I agree that all the decisions were right.

I also think Diego Sanchez did well, he simply ran into a superior fighter.

Forrest Griffin is in another zone now!!!

I also thin Liddel clearly won the first round, and with the exception of the knockdown punch, he would have won the second round despite the rib kicks by Jardine. IMO, Jardine took the third round decisively as well.

Chucks gameplan to simply stand in front of Jardine and bang was a mistake.

Tyson Griffin was outstanding in the opening fight.

For a card with no title fights, this one sure gave us our moneys worth......:darkbeer:

As a huge fight fan, I thought it was a great ppv. The Iceman says he doesn't underestimate any opponents but I think he really didn't give Keith Jardine enough credit for his boxing skills. Jardine has such an unorthodox style and somewhat resembles a monkey in the octagon. Jon Fitch and Diego Sanchez was a good fight, but Sanchez was outclassed, two great warriors, but my fellow Hoosier Fitch won the fight decisively. What can I say about Griffin and Shogun but WOW! I don't know why these PRIDE guys are having such a hard time in the octagon, you think they would have outstanding cardio, I don't know how familiar any of you are with PRIDE rules but they have a 10 minute first round, compared to 5 in the UFC, and Maricio Rua looked gassed in the first minute of the 2nd! Big props to Forrest Griffin, that dude is amazing, although it did look like he got hit in the head with a 2-blade Rage form that elbow! I was very happy with Tyson Griffin's performance as well. To see Wanderlei Silva in the crowd was crazy can't wait to see him bang in December! BTW great to see some fellow fight fans on here, any of you guys also train?

Don't forget that in the LHWt class that there is an upcoming Houston Alexander. Jardine should remember him very well.

Fellow Hoosier needs to tell the other Hoosier that BoilerMaker face was GAY. He would not stop doing it. LOL. I have always been a huge UFC and MMA fan. I got a taste while I was in the Marines. They have stopped training the Line training which was alot of stomping and censory override garbage and now have gone to a MMA style of hand to hand combat and is very effective with proficiency training. I was up Brown belt before I got out. They teach the standup and ground and pound with throws and arm bars from the guard and mount positions. The only training day an enlisted man looks forward to and everyone wants to be partnered with an "O" so you can beat on him a little.

They teach the standup and ground and pound with throws and arm bars from the guard and mount positions take down defense and weapons and much more the further you advance. They even teaching techniques using the Karambit knives. It is also a great selling point for recruiters and guys thinking of coming in since UFC has become so popular. The UFC and the Marine Corps have done a partnership and many of the UFC guys have had training sessions with Marines (Shamrock, Ortiz...). Its the only training day an enlisted man looks forward to and everyone wants to be partnered with an "O" so you can beat on him a little.
